Traffic Signals: Request

Phone Call: The traffic signal timing at S Deborah Dr. and W Tapp Road is not favorable. When drivers make a right-turn from S Deborah onto W Tapp, the light stays red for an unreasonably long time. Resident is requesting a study of the traffic signal timing at this intersection and a follow up on any findings made by city staff.

Called back resident who explained that Tapp Rd would sit on a red as Deborah got a green light even when there was no person driving or walking across Tapp. I told the resident that I would look into what changes were made here and see what could be done to address this.
