Phone Call: Banneker Center: Ms. McKibben attended a lecture about gangs and was upset to find out they could exist in Blmtn. She contacted the probation dept and the Police Dept who told her the areas of greatest gang activity was BBCC, Kirkwood and the Mall. She withdrew both her children the Teen X-Treme Camp and wanted to know why we had not informed her of the risk. She questioned whether P&R was "burying their heads in the sand" about gang issues.
