I looked at the site on 10-9-96. The sanitary drain in question is a private one. It consists of a 4" :.V.C. pipe in the drainage swail/creek behind his house at 1413. The City is planning for a project to occur in this area similar to the one we awarded to R.H. Marlin last year in this area only this would be a much larger project that would involve the allocation of much more funds. I am not sure as what the City's position is on the maintainence or protection of an private sewer. I spoke with Tim Lawson, and Bob Chesnut about helping Mr. Wentworth and they agreed that we could help him by placing some timbers in the bed of the swail and then backfilling the area behind it with dirt to protect the sanitary sewer of Mr. Wentworth.
