Sidewalk Snow Removal: Request
THE PROBLEM IS WATER RUNOFF CAUSING DRAINAGE PROBLEMS IN THE SUNNY SLOPES AREA. THIS AREA HAS RECENTLY BEEN ANNEXED. THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN ONGOING FOR THE PAST 8 TO 10 YEARS. SHE HAS BEEN TOLD IT IS THE COUNTY, COUNTY SAYS CITY. SHE HAS TALKED WITH KELLY CROUCH IN CODE ENFORCEMENT DEPT.

This complaint has definatly been around for some time, I first was at the site almost a year ago with Bob Falk, who recieved this complaint from Mike Leavitt, who got it from Bill Riggert. I don't believe it was ever really a issue as to whether it was the county's problem or ours. Just the fact that no one knows what to do. It seems that some sort of sink hole is forming at the rear of the property and is currently taking in water. Normally the drainage swail that went past her property furthered the water down along the East side of S. Walnut Street. I traced the arial photo's that we have back to 1949 and could see no previous evidence of a sink hole nor any evidence of dumping that might be settling.
