neighbors have left a sink, eight tires, buckets of drywall, and bags of trash in my yard. need to find a resolution and have the trash removed because it is causing hazards to my home and safety.
Light Trespass. Ongoing problem. The city has investigated before and confirmed light trespass. The large carriage lights on the east of the house porch are nonconforming with city code, they are unshielded, and are left on all night, as well, and there is light trespass on the neighboring property.This has been verified by a site visit by the city, measured on the neighboring property. Please enforce this. The light trespass is a continuing problem and it is disruptive to neighbors, as well as being a circadian rhythm disruptor. Apparently the house is unoccupied currently, and in a misguided effort to make the house look occupied, the exterior lights are left on all night. Thank you for enforcing the city code, and stopping this violation and nuisance immediately.
The corner of Moores Pike and Claris currently has flashing Yellow lights to help pedestrians cross Moores Pike. Drivers view yellow lights as a call to speed up not Stop. I walk there frequently but cars seldom slow or stop Sometimes the cars speed up, either to beat the light or to run over me. Perhaps it would help to change the lights to red which means Stop. Or install a regular stop light. Also, at the Southeast corner of Hillside Dr and College Mall Rd. The crossing light turns on when the vehicles turn right from Sare Rd onto Hillside Dr. This is very dangerous for the pedestrian since the corner is not visible to the cars turning right. I've noticed a lot of people walking from the apartment complex out to the main road on this street and I wanted to send a report to see if someone could either trim the foliage to ensure people can walk on the side of the road or if a sidewalk could be created down South Oakdale Drive to protect pedestrians. The entire brand new bike path has been barricaded from Kinser to Arlington. It looks like all that is going on is a single truck with a trailer parker on the path near the skate rink. Seems like a bit of overkill to close the whole path down for residents!
Missing tree grate. This is a trip hazard and not ADA compliant. Please replace tree grate or install pavers.
