NEED TREES AND BRUSH CLEARED NEAR CONCRETE WALKWAY ALONG WINSLOW ROAD
New construction site on South Rogers is scattering debris on the road. I live in Clear Creek housing edition and have to travel on South Rogers every day for work. In the past 2 weeks I have had two separate issues with the same brand of screws in my back left tire. I travel on I69 for work and have been traveling at 60 miles an hour with a screw in my tire. This has happened twice in two weeks at no fault of my own. This set of tires is less than 6 months old and today I found out from Royal Mazda that I need to purchase a new tire. This is unacceptable from a point of safety for the South Rogers neighborhood and an additional cost to citizen(s) of Bloomington.
Please see attached photo. This location is at 10th and Park and has been reported to the IU Grounds Dept. as a tripping hazard. The gray bucket is there to indicate a bus pickup for the Boy Scouts that are in town but the metal and the sandbags are blocking the sidewalk, our crews moved the items off the sidewalk and into the homeowners yard. Please pickup. Thanks Jill.
I met this morning with Mr. Nathan Bell (812-679-7436) who resides at 831 S Ransom Lane. Mr. Bell expressed concern about no speed limit signs along Ransom Lane between 2nd Street and Allen Street as this is a school bus corridor with safety concerns for his children and those of his neighbors. His formal request: install posted speed limit signs along Ransom Lane between 2nd Street and Allen Street.
Street cuts on E. 20th between N. Dunn and Lincoln are excessive and damaging tires. Please fix before more cars are damaged. Thank you!

The contractor that did the construction in the basement did it without permits, it also violates the fire code. This facility treats disabled individuals struggling with mental health and addiction.
Hi there! It seems like every week there is an accident at the intersection of N Washington and 7th street. I’m wondering if you could put a stop sign there since it’s really dangerous for people driving and pedestrians crossing. Thanks!
I am requesting that a speed bump and a flashing speed indicator be installed in a location along W Woodlawn Ave, somewhere between S Weatherstone Ln and E Wilson St. The speed limit on S Woodlawn Ave is 25 MPH, but the average vehicle's speed in front of my approximate address is closer to 45 MPH, with many vehicles regularly reaching speeds over 60 MPH and even 80 MPH at least daily. The reason why the speed limit is 25 MPH on S Woodlawn Ave is because of its proximity to Indiana University foot and bike commuters, Bryan Park, the Bryan Park Pool, a bus stop, and Union Elementary School. In addition to these elements, S Woodlawn Ave is also hilly which contributes to dangers associated with limited lines of sight between vehicles and pedestrians. Being a thoroughfare between Hillside Ave and streets north of it, traffic naturally flows faster than 25 MPH especially with the only stop sign between 1st St and Hillside Ave being at Sheridan Ave. Drivers frequently “floor” their vehicles through S Woodlawn Ave, and the police speed enforcement seems to never pull anyone over for speeding. For the above reasons, the current traffic pattern on S Woodlawn Ave is incompatible with its intended use. Installing a speed bump and a flashing speed indicator (for both northbound and southbound traffic) will hopefully greatly reduce thoroughfare excessive speeds. I am worried that this is a formula for someone to get hurt and it is only a matter of time unless the City does something about this. Please at least conduct a traffic study. Thank you for receiving my note, and I will be following up on this.
