This intersection is very difficult to cross and to access from North Stonelake Drive. People crossing from both sides cause complications with accessing the highway. There have been a lot of reported accidents and near accidents where people not slowing down have been factors.

Road hazard in Morningside (East side of town.) There is a contraption in Morningside that blocks traffic and is quite hazzardous, especially at night when there are no lights. Please remove at once.
There are what I believe are curb extensions at the intersection of Fess and Maxwell. At night, these extensions are not marked nor lit. When turning onto Maxwell off of Fess with oncoming traffic you are forced over to the side of the road. In my case, I hit the curb busting a tire and doing extensive damage to the car. I went back the following day and it is clear the curbs have been hit by multiple vehicles. Reflectors or other signage would be helpful for the unexpected curb extensions. very large potholes in the northbound lane
Traffic along 1st and 2nd Streets and Henderson continues to increase in volume, speed, and non-compliance with stop signs. This is especially evident during morning and afternoon rush hours. Drivers have found they can cross town faster by cutting through core neighborhoods and ignoring traffic laws, than using major thoroughfares. Increased police presence would likely get these cars back on major roads. It is important the city realizes that it is the breaking of traffic laws that is making this traffic pattern desirable for drivers. I live at 1st and Henderson and less than 50% of cars come to a complete stop at this intersection.
There is a near constant gridlock on 10th St. near campus due to the concern for allowing students to cross the street. Perhaps an underground tunnel would help. It is a daily nightmare.
There is a road construction sign sitting to the right of the exit from the plaza (3rd and college mall) between German American bank and HuHot Mongolian Restaurant. This sign is obstructing view when using this exit and is not safe for people pulling out onto busy 3rd street. Please move it.

the corner of normandale blvd & old Shakopee rd. the left turn go arrow don't come on correctly (when facing west and trying to turn south). I have contacted the police about this issue but so far no change. in the middle of the night it doesn't work at all and during the day sometimes it works properly and sometimes it doesn't. their used to be a "trip switch" that would go off and change the red arrow to green but that is not working in the middle of the night at all. please call. thank you.
