Cars can drive faster than the speed limit over the traffic calming humps that were installed. Witness many vehicles increased speed over humps.
Vehicles consistently driving at high rates of speed on Winslow Rd. The detour on Rhorer Rd has exasperated this problem. It would behoove our community if there were some traffic calming measures implemented here, or actual enforcement of posted speed limits by BPD.
The people who live in this house constantly have several cars parked outside on the street. Sometimes they park on both sides of the road, making it nearly impassible. They also often park almost all the way up to the stop sign because there are no yellow lines or No Parking signs. It makes it very dangerous for cars pulling off of or onto Rogers.
There is a No Large Trucks/ commercial vehicles sign posted at this location yet semi trucks for Secretly Canadian consistently use this street for their commercial traffic and have been damaging trees on other street.
Church goers are parking on both sides of Adams St instead of using the parking lot that was recently constructed to alleviate this issue. With cars on both sides of the street it becomes wide enough for only 1 car to pass and given the bend in the road, you cannot see on coming traffic depending on how many cars are parked out there. This leads to some dangerous situations where someone has to reserve.
I live on the corner of Jamie Lane and Benson Court with a 4 way stop and people do not respect the stop sign and fly through this is an ongoing issue I am concerned about the children in this area I believe police should monitor this intersection more often to avoid accidents and create more awareness, Thank you.
What can the City do with people that used the turn lane on Bloomfield Rd as their owns special lane to go as fast as the can from Cory ln to the Stoplight for the TLRC. they will get in the middle turn lane and floor it. They also treat Allen st as their own race track with hills. Maybe stop sings at Tall oaks, Cory Ln.,and Beech tree. Pretty much blind intersections get on to Allen St
Near miss as traffic on Highland Ave almost failed to come to a stop before entering Hillside. I was driving eastbound on Hillside and was almost hit by the driver with a stop sign on Highland
On the southeast corner of Sheridan Drive and Hawthorne Drive, the bushes are blocking the entire view of traffic coming east to west on Sheridan, including all pedestrian and bicycle traffic in the multi-use path there. You can't even see cars. You have to be pulled out into the multi-use path to see around. There are 3 bushes that need seriously trimmed or totally removed for cyclist and motorist and pedestrian safety.
