A tenant in this house regularly drives the wrong way on 11th Street. To get to the parking spot in back, the approach should be from Washington (from the west) but instead she takes what she has decided is a convenient shortcut from Lincoln. This has caused near collisions multiple times with pedestrians who are walking on 11th street (which for some reason has no sidewalks in this block). Each time, she flippantly squeals, "Oh, sorry!" as if she didn't know better, even though she has been given a talking to about this several times. It is clearly marked "One Way" towards the east. Can the police give someone a ticket for something they did not actually witness? What is the best approach when entitled undergraduates regularly violate traffic regulations because they are inconsiderate, selfish, and feel the rules don't apply to them? This is a Chickering rental.

Nope, Public Works was wrong. Drivers exiting from the rear of Union at Crescent aren't going out 14th. They are going to W. 11th via N. Oolitic. Since that exit opened, traffic on Oolitic has tripled and they don't all come down the hill heading South at a kid-safe speed. Thanks for upgrading the infrastructure before development, Hamilton.

Hello, there is a massive issue with drivers running red lights and stop signs in this city. I have marked a particularly bad intersection (Madison and 11th), however this issue is city-wide. The included intersection has a wall on the bridge that prevents vehicles from seeing around the corner to 11th street, which often means that people just roll right through the stop sign. I've been almost T-boned at this intersection multiple times, and I genuinely fear I may die there some day. I have already been hit once by someone ignoring traffic laws on Third Street, and have almost been hit on foot and in my vehicle countless times downtown. It has gotten to the point where I am afraid to travel around the city. There should be traffic cameras on the stop lights, and more aggressive fines to deter these people casually ignoring safety and traffic laws. I understand that it is hard to enforce stop signs, however I have witnessed (on multiple occasions) police patrol vehicles allowing people to run right through 4-way stops, and some even do it themselves. People are learning that there are absolutely no consequences for driving recklessly around the city, and it has gotten noticeably worse. Please, consider taking action about the extremely unsafe traffic situation in our city.

Hello. There is a problem with reckless driving in the Maple Heights neighborhood. I experience it on my daily walks on Fairview, 11th, Maple, 13th, Jackson, Rogers, etc... I see it and hear it throughout my day specifically on 13th street both west and east directions and Fairview both north and south directions. Frequently, it is a vehicle speeding north on Fairview, then turning east on 13th street. Then just a few minutes later the same car speeds in the reverse directions. Is this some sort of a methamphetamine pickup? I don't know. But it is regular, has been a regular occurrence, and I am tired of it. The worst regular occurrence are negligent, selfish motorists traveling at very high speeds from the east on 13th street heading west to Maple. I was taking in the recycling bin last night and could not believe the speed at which someone drove past me. This is not safe. There is a special needs adolescent in the neighborhood who sometimes dances around in the street. There are children that play and should have every right to play without cars traveling at high speeds past them. This is incredibly dangerous driving in a residential neighborhood and I would appreciate it if the police could enforce the traffic laws prior to their being property damage and/or personal injury. Poor/horrible visibility at the intersection of 4th and Jackson streets. If you are traveling on Jackson and needing to turn on 4th or cross 4th - you have to pull 1/2 way into the road to see around parked cars. I've witnessed several near accidents. Recommending a 4 way stop at this intersection.

Dead end on east end of E. Sheffield Dr. Traffic is entering through a non driveway from wooded area creating potential traffic hazards. Trucks are removing the center diamond sign and driving into private property (not a city issue). Utilizing roadway improperly and potentially damaging city sign. Solution would be to erect a metal guard rail at the dead end to stop traffic entering through an unauthorized driveway in the city and lessen the traffic on the city street in this quiet neighborhood.

Very narrow intersection when vehicles are parked along sidewalk. Cars driving south on N Fairview toward the intersection drive fast up the hill and cannot be seen by vehicles advancing north on N Fairview if the south-bound car has not yet reached the intersection. Not enough room for two directional traffic because of the vehicles parked on the side of the road.

The high speeds cars drive on Kinser Pike are crazy fast and it's any time of day (morning, evening, middle of the night). I'm honestly afraid for my 3 year old's life as much as I keep her out of the road. The hill/blind spots before my house really worry me. I don't know if we could have more patrols out here or a speed check sign. I know there was a school speed limit sign in my neighbors yard that has since disappeared.
