I was taking my child to school at University this morning. There has been a crew working on the power lines on 10th street. This morning they seemed to be getting a later start. It was about 8:25 and the trucks were just arriving. We sat for 10 minutes waiting for traffic coming from the east on 10th street. Several children were late to school because it seems the company didn't have a handle on the traffic control. I may have missed it but I saw no one managing traffic at Smith or on the eastside of 10th street. On a school morning, I would expect the crew would be set up and ready to handle the traffic prior to the start of school.

Crazy fast drivers through here!! Need speed bumps ... Or humps? I don't know which one would be better.

Could use a week or two of speed limit enforcement. We often have cars gunning their engines and far exceeding the speed limit. It's dangerous on such a narrow street. Some moderate speed bumps might help, or occasional law enforcement presence

There is a large tree that blocks the view of the east side of the road on 8th street from Roosevelt street. There have been many close calls with traffic and I think it's dangerous. The only way to see traffic coming from the east side is to pull up past the tree, but by then you are already halfway in the road. I would appreciate it if this tree could be cut down or at least cut in a way that makes it possible to see the road. The noise from a constant flow of dump trucks and motorcycles is intolerable. The streets and walking paths are now coated with dirt and sand that washes out from around the street lights, gravel, road trash that requires CONSTANT removal and mostly from the dirt that comes out from uncovered dump trucks servicing the Trinitas project. Our rental house sits close to the road where the noise level is unacceptable. The retaining walls cause even more noise than before. We need some speed and noise control, please. Aren't there weight limits for residential streets? Semitrucks and trailers and full dump trucks do not belong on residential streets do they? I thought that's what "highways" were for.

There need to be stop signs here or some warning that there no longer are stop signs, you guys took out the stop signs now every car races down E 7th street. It's been two days and there has already been a car crash, this could be a student next. It is not safe at all and needs action taken immediately.
