The noise from a constant flow of dump trucks and motorcycles is intolerable. The streets and walking paths are now coated with dirt and sand that washes out from around the street lights, gravel, road trash that requires CONSTANT removal and mostly from the dirt that comes out from uncovered dump trucks servicing the Trinitas project. Our rental house sits close to the road where the noise level is unacceptable. The retaining walls cause even more noise than before. We need some speed and noise control, please. Aren't there weight limits for residential streets? Semitrucks and trailers and full dump trucks do not belong on residential streets do they? I thought that's what "highways" were for.

I live on the Waterman section of W. 8th Street. A few years ago, before the city repaved our road, there were yellow center lines and also marked roadside parking spaces. When will the city repaint those lines? It has been a few years already. We have an issue of people speeding on our road, which they do by driving down the center of it regardless of oncoming traffic, pedestrians, and bicyclists. I think the speeding was less of an issue back when the road lines were painted because those lines prevented people from driving down the middle of the road like they do now. I think repainting the center lines and the parking spot lines, we could actually solve the speeding problem.

Road was torn up during repairs to water line over the winter. Has not been resurfaced. Hazardous because cars drive on wrong side of street to avoid non-paved areas.

Park Ridge neighborhood - We need the street dept. to re-stencil all of the traffic calming symbols and stripes on all the speed bumps. Also, all posts with safety reflectors need to be inspected. Some missing altogether as well as many round reflectors missing. Please follow up - we would appreciate it! Weather is perfect for such work! Between approximately 1910 until about 1925 on 3/21/24, I witnessed 6-8 vehicles drive south in the northbound lane in the construction area from Fountain then turning west on 7th St. The vehicles ranged from a full-size truck pulling a trailor, the kind to haul a riding lawnmower, to an either 2-door or small 4-door car and judging from the high speed at which the car drove and the timing of the next northbound car, the southbound car entered the construction zone at the same time or after the northbound car entered from Kirkwood. This was all within 15-20 minutes on the 4th day of the closure.It's going to be a problem.
