grafitti on stop sign that faces park at the se corner of park and grimes.
street light directly in front of this home is out..appears to have some damage also. would like replaced as soon as possible for safety.
Mr. Fleetwood stated that today he witnessed several vehicles going around a city bus that was stopped to let students off near the tennis courts. Mr. Fleetwood stated that 2 girls were nearly run over as they crossed the street to get to their cars that were parked in the parking lot. Mr. Fleetwood thinks that there should be some sort of traffic signal/caution light or possibily a crossing guard. He is afraid that someone is going to get hurt. Mr. Guess has called Police several times to request that they radar near his home between 8 & 10 a.m. and 2 and 5 p.m., to slow speeding vehicles. Guess has offered his driveway for police to park in when radaring speeders. Can Police Department radar this area?
Foliage is blocking alley off of 10th St. Its the alley behind the house located on the corner of E. 10th and N. Morton. Apparently it is blocking the alley and making for hazardous driving conditions.
There is a problem on South Maxwell Street just South of Hillside Drive. When there are cars parked on both sides of Maxwell it is difficult to pull off of Hillside Drive and get through. She has been blocked and told to go around the block to access her home. It is dangerous because you do not know the cars are there until you are half way onto Maxwell Street.
TRASH IN THE STREET COMING OFF SIDEWALK AND BLOWING INTO TRAFFIC. HE HAD TO SWERVE TO MISS IT.
Caller said that on Wednesday, 4/23/97 a City recycling truck (Plate No. 34774) was going 50mph turning from South Walnut onto Miller Drive.
Mr. Edwards would like BPD to run radar on the speeders on South Walnut. He sees officers patrolling but feels it's not enough and someone is going to get hurt by a speeding automobile.
