Mr. Riggins called to say he spotted an oversized white van w/City logo - woman driver (Kid City van) @ 1st and Lincoln driving West on 1st St. It was raining and the roads were slick. Driver rolled through stop sign or skidded, but didn't come close to a full stop.

Mr. Parks contacted us couple mo.'s ago regarding traffic light @ GE entrance off Curry--semi's/cars both running light, running others off road--explained it was County's jurisdiciton. This time called b/c has been calling County for months--fed up! This time he added problem w/ speeding and reckless driving all up and down Curry. Again, reiterated what part of Curry is County & what's City--told him I'd forward complaint to BPD to see if they could patrol area more & ticket.

Park Ridge West on Longview: He was there last night, the security light is out. Also, there really needs to be 2 lights there instead of 1, without it, it is really dark. Needs the light ASAP.

Mr. Miller states that since the City installed sidewalks along E. Third Street that bicyclists are riding on these sidewalks at high speed. It is very dangerous for pedestrians and one day he will be hit. Is there anything the City can do?

Students from Bloomington High School North park their vehicles on Valleyview Drive, mainly from Winding Way to Parkview Drive. Mr. Steele would like to have some type of signage indicating that this is resident parking only. I explained to him that the Neighborhood Parking Program is currently on hold to add any more areas and that the only sign would be "No Parking". Citizen says driver of trash truck was speeding through Blue Ridge this morning, ignoring stop signs. Says this should not be allowed, especially when it is so slick out and people are pulling out of their driveways.

The problem is actually in the sharp curve on Ramble Road East as soon as you come in off of North Dunn Street. There are bushes/tree limbs that have overgrown into the street causing drivers to go over into the oncoming lane. This is a problem in this sharp curve when you cannot see someone coming the other direction.

Mr. Adams states that crossing east third street is dangerous. He states that there is no crosswalk and he has observed children and seniors having difficulty crossing the road. He wants to know if the City has plans to correct the problem.
