Citizen says that yesterday, Tues. May 12, at 9:30AM, a city employee driving a Blue Celebrity with municipal plates 34835 was tailgating other drivers, cut her off and was generally driving in a hazardous fashion which poorly represented the city. She thought this person should be reprimanded. The incident occurred on Walnut Street.
Park Ridge West on Longview: He was there last night, the security light is out. Also, there really needs to be 2 lights there instead of 1, without it, it is really dark. Needs the light ASAP.
There is a tulip tree in between 3911 & 3913 Laurel Ct. The driver of the trash truck has backed up into the tree the past 2 weeks, breaking branches and leaves everywhere. He doesn't need to back up this far and he's going to kill the tree.
Mr. Miller states that since the City installed sidewalks along E. Third Street that bicyclists are riding on these sidewalks at high speed. It is very dangerous for pedestrians and one day he will be hit. Is there anything the City can do?

Students from Bloomington High School North park their vehicles on Valleyview Drive, mainly from Winding Way to Parkview Drive. Mr. Steele would like to have some type of signage indicating that this is resident parking only. I explained to him that the Neighborhood Parking Program is currently on hold to add any more areas and that the only sign would be "No Parking". The cow-gate on Covenanter has been unlocked and traffic is moving freely through the gate. It should be locked up again until it is officially allowed to be opened.
Resident of The Stands reports that the stop sign exiting her cul-de-sac has faded so much that STOP is barely readable. As well, the streetlight in the cul-de-sac has begun to flicker, and when it's off the area is very dark.
Barbara Daniels called to inform us that the intersection of Third and Walker is obstructed by large shrubs, trees, and a tall fence that make it unable for motorists to see to get onto Third. She wasn't sure of the private residence's address, but wanted the City to do something about it.
The curb where the traffic calming device is located at the southwest corner to Third and Rogers needs to be painted yellow to keep people from parking there
