There is a Doge ‘Nitro’ SUV (dark blue) parked on the west side of Eastside Drive too close to the intersection affecting visibility and turning safety.
Near miss as traffic on Highland Ave almost failed to come to a stop before entering Hillside. I was driving eastbound on Hillside and was almost hit by the driver with a stop sign on Highland
Two lanes on Indiana Avenue seems excessive. There is never a lot of traffic here. I was in the left-most lane at Indiana Ave and 7th Street, and someone driving turned left from the right lane. I see this often because people don't know they are on one-way streets. It'd be easier if this is only one-lane northbound.
Resident complaint of accessibility and clearly marked closures in the 6th/7th Street repaving project. Quick observation looks like they have traffic control devices encroaching the crosswalk along Rogers and no closures posted at alleys causing confusion.
On the southeast corner of Sheridan Drive and Hawthorne Drive, the bushes are blocking the entire view of traffic coming east to west on Sheridan, including all pedestrian and bicycle traffic in the multi-use path there. You can't even see cars. You have to be pulled out into the multi-use path to see around. There are 3 bushes that need seriously trimmed or totally removed for cyclist and motorist and pedestrian safety.
Excessive speeding on this road 24/7
There are quite a few cars and trucks that once they turn off of Henderson St. onto E Graham Dr. start speeding and revving their engines and some have even raced one another...we have children and animals around this area and it is very disturbing. This happens during the day and also at night. Please help!!!
There is road work being done, closing the easternmost northbound lane of Walnut in the intersection. The normally middle lane has signs marking it as right turn only, meaning cars going straight north are supposed to get into the left turn lane where they get stuck behind cars waiting to turn left. And those are the cars that obey the right turn only signs. Most don't. They use what is being called right turn only to go straight. Therefore, at times, cars from both lanes are trying to go straight at once. They need to take those signs down and just let everyone going north OR turning right to use that lane. Right turns rarely hold up traffic there, but left turns always do. With people using both lanes to go north and users of each thinking the other guy is wrong, it's causing conflicts, near misses, and road rage.
