Since Catalent is using Twin Lakes/Sportsplex for additional employee parking, traffic on W 2nd St. has become very heavy and SLOW, especially at shift changes. Are there any plans to add traffic lanes or additional turn lanes to 2nd St and/or the entrance/exit to Twin Lakes? Catalent is currently adding another 600+ positions, which will probably add more vehicles and slower travel times through this area.
People park on Driscoll at corner of Washington AT the stop sign. Essentially makes the street one way. Also you can’t see the speed limit sign in the Driscoll block from walnut to Washington. New building also has no curbing painting for corner of alley along with fire hydrant !!!
Blue Buick at 3345 is permanently stationary with no registration I do not know if this is illegal or not. The condo H.O.A. is unresponsive ( Ivy Sells). The owner of this unit is Hoosier Choice Realty. This resident had a visitor that intimidated me in the past . Cars.law.com states an unregistered vehicle in Indiana may not be located on a sidewalk. Natural gas workers heavy equipment has been parking on the 900 block of East Side drive for several months. The daily noise is the biggest, though not only problem. Each day, their work takes them further from this location, yet they return to this spot to park. It is an unfair burden to have the source of this extraordinary disruption in our faces for so long. Please require them to find another location to park. I have a sleep disorder and this noise has become a threat to my health, as well as a disruption to the peace of our neighborhood -- for months!
Speed limits are often not observed, especially during higher traffic times of day. It is not uncoomon that I am passed while driving my daughter to school.
Large commercial type trailer parked along the street on a regular basis. This is not a Peppergrass vendor.
I am not sure this is the right venue for this issue. There are very often parked cars on Lincoln St to the north and south of University in the yellow (no parking) area. These cars park nearly to the corner, making sight lines for those turning off University onto Lincoln very challenging. I have never seen these cars ticketed, and they do it constantly. Most commonly they are there on the weekends and in the mornings every day. Some oversight of this issue would help a lot

As a rep of the HOA I spoke with owner at 3873 Laurel regarding the truck and trailer parked in the street and the complaints I have received. I suggested that he park the vehicle elsewhere so as not to block the street. He indicated in was OK with the city, he pays assoc. fees, etc. I believe this is likely in violation of 15.32.060.
