On the west side of Park Square Drive the weeds have got extremely tall. It is a real issue trying to pull out of Highland Park school is a very dangerous situation as you can’t see traffic coming from the North. Weeds are almost as tall as street signs also posing as a traffic hazard.
A significant portion of people traveling north or south on High St do not come close to a complete stop at E. Arden Dr.. Some blow it off, some seem surprised or forgot the stop is there and the rest are making the case for changing the name from "California stop" to "Hoosier stop". This stop may be technically outside of the school zone but kids do walk/ride to school along that stretch of road.
Orange barrels on Winslow. These barrels are restricting traffic. Been there a week. NO WORK. This is ridiculous.
There are numerous close calls and way too many accidents at this intersection because cars on Grant aren't aware that cross-traffic on 9th doesn't stop. There was an accident this afternoon and luckily everyone was fine, but I believe it could have been avoided if the city put up a little "Cross Traffic Does Not Stop" sign below the stop signs on Grant. Someone has painted over the yellow curb on College Avenue (just north of the railroad bridge) with gray paint, allowing cars to park on the street in this area. It looks suspicious - can can you please check to see if this was done by the City or if it was just somebody trying to create an illegal parking area for themselves?
2nd & Rogers, heading south on Rogers -- people are idiotically going straight from the left turn lane. The lanes on Rogers south of 2nd were shifted for construction, and people have decided this means they should use the left turn lane to go straight. This morning, 3 cars went straight from the left turn lane, cutting off straight traffic from the straight/right lane at the light. People are just going through the intersection straight from the left lane with total disregard to the lane they are in and how common sense and logic work. Sit a cop out there and you can write tickets all day long. Put up some better signs with the construction to keep people using the proper lanes. Accidents are waiting to happen.
There need to be signs on Rogers going south into the 2nd Street intersection because people are not very smart. Cars are going straight from the left turn lane into the shifted lane on the south side of the 2nd Street intersection on Rogers. On Friday afternoon, 4 cars from the left turn lane cut off traffic going straight from the proper lane. This is dangerous. People are bad drivers.

Both Hillside drive and High Street are heavily used. Hillside is a major east west thoroughfare and High street is a commonly used to go north to south and skip utilizing college mall and south Sare Roads. Moores pike / Hillside Drive and West Country Club / East winslow drive / East Rogers Road all deserve added lanes of travel. Going east to west in this city is painfully slow which causes a lot of dangerous driving situations. The roads are way to narrow as it is and distracted (or mechanical issues / health issues / Construction / etc) oncoming drivers leave very little room to avoid a head on collision.
