I live at Campus Court apartments at 2036 N Walnut Street. Behind the "F" building, there is a narrow lane connecting the parking lots, and the curb is designated as a fire lane. There are two individuals who park in the lane, every single weekday, from approximately 6pm to midnight. I have spoken to them in person and asked them not to park in the fire lane, but they return every day. The apartment management is also aware of this problem. I was hoping that the cars could be towed or cited for parking in a fire lane. Thank you!

On the north side of East Third just east of the 45-46 bypass, someone has plowed a large pile of snow onto the sidewalk between CVS and Arby's, forcing pedestrians into the traffic lane to get through.

On the east side of Kingston Dr. just north of East Third, someone has plowed a large pile of snow onto the sidewalk/pedestrian walkway between MainSource bank and Big Red Liquors. Pedestrians are forced into traffic to get around it. I think there's no sidewalk on the west side of the street, so this is the only way for pedestrians to proceed north on Kingston.

March 1, 2015. Last night a snow plow came only part way down our street (East Maplecrest Drive) as a result of a parked car. It then backed completely out and did not finish the rest of the street. This car has been parked in the same place for over 3 months. We need our street plowed. Please help.

Car blocking sidewalk every evening and weekends. Difficult for neighbors to walk, push strollers and with little kids on bikes.
The house owner rents out rooms and has limited parking available. One car parks on the street which breaks HOA rules. They could all fit in the driveway and share keys if a car needs moved. The address is 4301 cricket knoll. The owner is Megan Utley. Thank you, Charlene and Charles Sykes- and other neighbors

Main streets in Bloomington and Normal were plowed and very passable yesterday. However, Chestnut, Allin and Mason streets did not fare the same. I left the facility at 6:00 pm last night and at that time the streets still appeared as if not plowed. In order to get from the lot to the building, staff and patients have to Cross Chestnut.
This morning when I came in at 7:30 am, the road conditions were not much better. Although the road did appear to be plowed, we had little mountains to cross at driveway and sidewalk intersections.
Since we are a 24 hour facility and have a pretty decent volume of patients (from pediatrics to geriatrics as well as some mobility assistance devices) and staff using this facility, we were wondering if there is a conversation to be had with the city.

I do a lot of walking for exercise. I have noticed that many homeowners are allowing trees and bushes to grow over sidewalks. Can you help it getting foliage cut back?

Apartment building (Hyatt Place) construction on S. 4th Street between College and Madison has been frequently blocking traffic or limiting it to one lane near the B-Line for the past 8-12 months. There is rarely anybody directing traffic (and if there is, it is usually a construction worker who only sometimes has a handheld stop sign). Construction vehicles often dart out into the street during high traffic times (morning and evening work rushes) and block entrance to nearby apartment buildings. Furthermore, lack of barricades or proper containment causes debris, shrapnel, and other detritus to spill into the street from construction vehicles and dumpsters, often causing hazardous conditions for drivers and vehicles. My own vehicle was recently damaged by stray debris (which was impossible to avoid) and may even be totaled as a result. This also creates dangerous conditions for pedestrians on the sidewalks and makes it impossible for pedestrians on the B-Line to see oncoming traffic before crossing 4th street.

There is a lot of growth on the south side of the alley behind 1412 S Walnut, making it difficult to get in and out of the parking behind the houses from there south to Hillside.
