On the west side of N. Williams St. between 8th and 9th Sts., the yard is so overgrown that it blocks half the width of the street, making it difficult to navigate when other cars are approaching during most of the year and impossible to navigate when snow plowing further narrows the passage.
Vegetation from the property to the north of the sidewalk is covering more than half of the sidewalk. Please remove the vegetation so it is a clear path.
This is the 3rd time I've reported this issue (previously reported on Oct. 12 and Nov. 15). On the west side of N. Williams St. between 8th and 9th Sts. Private apartment company buses are stopping dead center on teh crosswalk to unload, wait, and load passengers. It blocks traffic. IU and city buses go up the block and use the pull off to do the same. Tell the private buses not to block the road. There are simply too many of them. Their passengers can walk the 100 feet just like normal people do. (it sits there 30 seconds to unload and load. Take that times 8 complexes and two runs an hour and you now have 8 minutes of 60 minutes blocked to traffic. It is already a bottle neck. This makes it much worse for no gain.
Sherwood oaks church put in new disc golf stations that runs adjacent to Rogers Rd. It is so close to road that discs are being thrown into road and people are going in the street retrieving their frisbee discs. Traffic / safety hazard.
This photo goes with ticket 176560. Also I see in my report that your cyber brain has changed Rogers and 9th street to Rogers and 10th. Technically there is no intersection at 9th, but that is the location of this problem.
We are sick and tired of the builder David Howard destroying our property and saying he will fix things and he never does. We have had to endure his horrible construction at 1110 S. Covenanter Drive for over two years now. He has damaged a garden block retainer wall and has said for over a year now that he would fix it. This is what he and his crew did to our front yard this morning. He said that we shouldn't worry because that is city property. Since the city will not install sidewalks in front of our house, we are the ones who are responsible for the maintenance on our grass and right now he has destroyed it and it looks like shit. We are sick and tired of dealing with him and having him promise to fix things that he destroys on our property. I have never dealt with such a crappy builder except Fatih Akin in 2012. Please advise what to do because this is unacceptable.
There is a large downed tree branch blocking the entire street at about 703 S. Rose Avenue.
