Tenants have been parking in the alley on the west side of this property, blocking it. There are two parking spots there, but they are parking three cars in the location and that prevents access to and egress from the alley. The tenants might not realize that it is an alley and needs to be kept open.
See uReport 181934, which is still happening. Parking Officer selectively allows people to continue to violate. This is an example of that. The tenants at this property regularly block the alley on the west side of the garage. They park three vehicles where there are only two spots. The third vehicle blocks the alley.
Car has been parked here illegally, repeatedly, at this location. (Note the "No Parking" sign.) West 7th, north side, just west of Maple.
Blue mazda parked in yellow zone in front of 802 W 7th. Creating a visibility issue when trying to turn off of southbound Maple Street. This is becoming a daily issue. Car has been parked there all night.
Mattresses left in the street, potentially constricting traffic at an intersection that is heavily trafficked twice a day with parents dropping kids off at the Fairview School.
Tenants have been parking in alley adjacent to (southside) rental unit.
Black Lexus SUV with expired plates(Palm Beach, Florida) regularly parks in alley on south side of house. Car also is often seen driving south on Lincoln (street is one-way north) from 12th to this alley.
The North/South alley between 810 W. 7th and 804 W. 7th is being encroached upon by gardens, woodpiles, trees/vegetation and possibly the fence and cinder block garage owned by 810 W 7th St. As a result, the alley traffic is being diverted outside of the alley right of way and onto the private property located at 804 W. 7th. This appears to have been going on for a number of years. As the new owner of 804 W. 7th St., it is my full intention to re-claim the property/property line currently being encroached upon and proceed with renovations. I request that the Street Dept contact the owner of 810 W. 7th and order the encroachments be removed. With the assistance of a surveyor, I have located the NW and SW corner pins delineating the right of way and pounded new T posts just outside of the right of way in those spots and plan to post the entire property line once the encroachments are removed. Were I to reclaim the property line today, the alley would become impassible due to said encroachments. I request your assistance in remedying this situation in a civil and legal manner, as requests to the homeowner of 810 W.7th have fallen upon deaf ears. I request that you keep me in the loop regarding this issue. I would be happy to meet with a representative of the street dept, with survey in hand, to assist in clarifying and remedying this issue, as renovations of 804 W. 7th will begin in a few weeks. The owners of this property currently have a contractor cutting an entire tree down, blocking the alleyway. They frequently have contractors and tenants of their airbnb in and out of their property, blocking the street, blocking cars in, encroaching on nearby property. No one in the adjacent properties were notified this would be happening. This tree is old and enormous, and one of a pair that was clearly planted together years ago. They're chopping it down instead of fixing their sewage - not illegal or a violation, but 100% selfish yuppie hogshit in keeping with everything else they've done.
