A small tree has fallen down across Longwood Drive. It is almost completely blocking the road, near the curve in the road.
Parking on Strong Drive by Catalent employees and contractors has created hazardous conditions. Drivers have elected to park their vehicles on both the east and west sides of the street which creates a long narrow passageway that has multiple limited and blocked views for drivers navigating Strong Drive. The obstruction of Strong drive has generated much frustration and many complaints regarding safety, delay, lack of consideration. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss the challenges of navigating safely through Strong Drive with the appropriate individual(s). I am looking forward to working cooperatively to rectify this issue. Doug Leggins, Vice President Operations, Organized Living.
Abandoned car blocking westbound lane of W Leonard Springs Rd, near intersection with Fullerton.
Construction is just a nightmare. The road to my knowledge is open heading south but every time I try to get through, construction vehicles parked all over the street and semi’s blocking the road. Will city look into this. Happens during early hours and gets worse as the day continues.
The side of the street closest to the school is completely blocked off during school pick up times. Cars are not allowed to go around the line of traffic that is sitting there. This is an extreme hazard and emergency vehicles are not able to get through. There are also cars illegally parked across from the school on South Sunflower Dr.
On the west side of N. Williams St. between 8th and 9th Sts., the yard is so overgrown that it blocks half the width of the street, making it difficult to navigate when other cars are approaching during most of the year and impossible to navigate when snow plowing further narrows the passage.
Townsend left a bunch of plastic runners in the street. They are big and creating a road issue. about 4ft by 6ft each.
At 8:35 this morning, a Centerpoint Energy truck was idling in the bike lane, blocking both lanes so I had to drive in the street, even though there's that big electric sign not far from that spot that says No Parking in the Bike Lane. There was a dude in the front seat reading an ipad or something.
Restaurant taking deliveries that make it impossible to pass legally traveling on Washington. I took it to be Da Vinci's pizza. Serious question, not being glib: does BPD enforce parking regulations when violated by delivery vehicles? Because I see it multiple times on any trip around town on a weekday morning.
