The sidewalk of 601 S Ballantine remains blocked by overgrown bushes on the E 2nd Street side. It's not at all walkable. The bushes get trimmed but are left extending very far over the sidewalk so as to block any access. Please help. Thanks!
Without any warning, the city has completely closed Walnut from Dodds to Hillside. People live here on walnut! We are not even given access to our homes let alone a warning that the street would be suddenly closed. There is no excuse for this.
On the sidewalk from Highland going west there is a semi-permanent basketball goal installed on the sidewalk.
caller states that there are basketball goals in the street at 123 & 119 w. pinewood dr. the people playing basketball are unruly and will not move to let vechicles through. this has been going on for some time.
Kids on Pinewood Dr. have a movable basketball goal which they set up on sidewalk or yard and play in the street. They block the street at night and cause problems for drivers.
Low hanging tree branches blocking sidewalk.
The business at 114 E 6th St consistently has the alley at the side of their business blocked with trash cans and boxes.
Blocking this east-west corridor all summer is a disaster. Consider there are people in this town who DRIVE EAST WEST. This has diverted traffic to hillside and last evening the traffic on hillside going west was backed up from the light at high street through the roundabout near renwick. This was causing drivers to divert into the neighborhood north of there, flying through at high speeds. Open up our roads again, stop making driving impossible in Bloomington with all these sidewalks, bikepaths, street narrowing curbs that NOBODY uses. NOBODY. Put a plan into place to improve EAST WEST traffic. This is ruining the town.
