Day lilies on the west make it difficult to see the street when travelling north bound at Hawthorne and Maxwell. Difficult to see oncoming traffic when trying to turn right or left.

I leave near the corner of South Grant Street and East Allen Street. When traveling south on Grant, there is a stop sign at Allen St where it is truly impossible to safely see if any traffic is coming from the West. The vegetation is so overgrown on this corner that it goes several meters beyond the stop sign. Since there is no stop sign for drivers traveling East or West on Allen, drivers on Grant Street have to inch out slowly halfway into the intersection until gaining any visibility around the vegetation. Please send somebody to remove the vegetation on this corner or I'll end up doing it myself. It's far too dangerous for a road where there are almost always cyclists which wouldn't be as easily seen or heard as a car.

Stop Ahead sign covered by foliage
- Case Date:
- 4/27/2012
Hi,
Not exactly a line of sight issue, couldn't really find a related category.
East Miller Drive is posted 'No Parking' from Walnut Street to Highland
Avenue, but not the last section between Highland and Maxwell. I believe
it used to be posted there also, but a few years ago the signs were
removed during construction and never reinstalled. Can those signs be
replaced or am I misremembering their existence?

I noticed several signs that are overgrown by foliage, causing them to be hard to see. One sign, a stop sign at E. Hunter Ave and Eastside Dr. is dangerous as it is covered up and could cause an accident. Other signs on E. Hunter Ave and South Eastside Dr are also covered. See photos. However, when the "foliage trimmers", came by, my tree was the only one trimmed and the 'parking permit' sign could be seen by an airplane as they butchered the tree. Other signs were ignored. Why? I would like them to notify me, the owner, if it needs to be trimmed and I would like to be there or do it myself.

I called over 30 days ago to notify you the city owned trees between our property and the street are blocking the line of sight getting out of our driveway. Since that phone call, there have been 3 near-misses by vehicles I could not see. Our address is 4000 S Jamie Lane. This needs to be taken care of ASAP.
Thank you,
Kathy Carter

Walnut and College moving south the left hand lane becomes a turn left only.
46 West to East at College and Walnut
Notification is only Speeding in Construction Zone and then Student return traffic delay.
Cones for left hand lane are sudden and create a turn left only suddenly.
There should be a mile notification of the left hand only and several following. See OSHA

This is an unacceptable reply and will be discussed at the next City Council open meeting.
The acceptable reply would have been that the report had been forwarded to INDOT.

This is INDOT work the City was not notified about.
