Case Date:

This is at the NW corner of Pickwick, heading east on Pickwick. Winfield is a busy street (most exceeding the speed limit by at least 10 miles an hour) and there is a stop sign for cars heading east on Pickwick. The people that live on the NW corner have planted rows of trees. These trees block the line of sight for those headed east on Pickwick. Cars that need to pull out onto Winfield must pull from Pickwick into the Winfield before the can see what cars are on Winfield. This route is often used by cyclists and there is no way to see cyclists heading south on Winfield. Please talk to the property owners about improving this situation by cutting or removing these trees.

Hi, I drive a bucket truck for a business on thorton drive. The boom sticks out six feet in front of the truck. When i pull out onto henderson I am almost in the middle of the road before i can see if traffic is coming. My main concern is that a bus or large vehicle could catch the boom and cause an accident. Before I was hoping the city could remove the overgrowth of brush at the intersection to make it safer. Thanks, Ben

This is at the intersection of Pickwick and Winfield, heading east on Winfield. There is a stop sign at this intersection. Winfield is a busy road and there are many bicyclists use it as well. As you can see, the trees on the northwest corner of this intersection block all view of anyone heading south on Winfield. Please speak to the property owners about removing or cutting these trees on the corner. Thank you.

909-999 South Grant Street

I leave near the corner of South Grant Street and East Allen Street. When traveling south on Grant, there is a stop sign at Allen St where it is truly impossible to safely see if any traffic is coming from the West. The vegetation is so overgrown on this corner that it goes several meters beyond the stop sign. Since there is no stop sign for drivers traveling East or West on Allen, drivers on Grant Street have to inch out slowly halfway into the intersection until gaining any visibility around the vegetation. Please send somebody to remove the vegetation on this corner or I'll end up doing it myself. It's far too dangerous for a road where there are almost always cyclists which wouldn't be as easily seen or heard as a car.

We would like to request this tree be removed or relocated to a different area. It is blocking our sign and property. It is by the road past the sidewalk. 3211 E 10th St.

There are what I believe are curb extensions at the intersection of Fess and Maxwell. At night, these extensions are not marked nor lit. When turning onto Maxwell off of Fess with oncoming traffic you are forced over to the side of the road. In my case, I hit the curb busting a tire and doing extensive damage to the car. I went back the following day and it is clear the curbs have been hit by multiple vehicles. Reflectors or other signage would be helpful for the unexpected curb extensions. Thanks!

No Parking from here to corner sign is seriously needed at 304 N. Hopewell and W. Habitat St. I live at the end of Habitat St. and have to back out to Hopewell St. To leave. We have already had an accident with the people who insist on parking at the very end of Habitat St. Thus creating a hazard and contributing to accidents. We have had the police talk to them twice but they continue to park in that area. A sign would help eliminate another accident and the police would be able to ticket them if the sign is ignored. Please help as this situation has been ongoing for a year and could become a bigger problem than it is now. Thank you.
