THERE IS A FLOWER GARDEN ON THE SW CORNER OF ANITA AND 1ST STREET. HE FEELS THAT THIS FLOWER GARDEN IS IN THE CITY'S RIGHT-OF-WAY AS WELL AS CAUSING A SIGHT DISTANCE PROBLEM. IF YOU ARE GOING NORTH ONTO ANITA TURNING ONTO FIRST STREET YOU HAVE TO PULL OUT IN THE INTERSECTION TO SEE IF ANYTHING IS COMING. HE HAS ALMOST BEEN HIT A COUPLE OF TIMES. A FEW OF THE NEIGHBORS ARE CONCERNED WITH THIS PROBLEM.
THE BUSHES AT THE BACK OF THE THE PROPERTY ARE OVERGROWN NEAR THE ROADWAY. THIS MAKES IT DIFFICULT FOR THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THE HOUSE BEHIND THE ABOVE ADDRESS TO PULL OUT ONTO THE STREET. MANY TIMES THEY HAVE TO GET OUT OF THEIR VEHICLES TO DIRECT TRAFFIC. (NOTE: THIS WAS CALLED IN TO "HAND" AND REFERRED TO ENG.)
BUSHES OVERGROWN CAUSING A PROBLEM TRYING TO PULL OUT ONTO GRIMES LANE. THE GENTLEMAN ORIGINALLY FILED A COMPLAINT WITH "HAND" ABOUT THE BUSHES AND HIGH GRASS. THE OWNERS MOWED THE GRASS BUT THE BUSHES HAVE OVERGROWN ONTO THE SIDEWALK AND THE GENTLEMAN CANNOT GET HIS WHEELCHAIR AROUND THEM.
On the South East corner of Grant & Grimes Ln, the neighbor's bushes are blocking the view of traffic. They cannot see to get out of their driveway.
The line of sight problem is at the intersection of Heather Drive and the east leg of Laurel Court. When you travel south on Laurel Court and approach the intersection with Heather Drive, there is no stop sign on the right side and the stop sign on the left side is obstructed by tree branches. There is a line of sight problem if you are turning left onto Covenanter Drive from Pickwick Place. There is a hill obstructing the line of sight. Could the City use some type of signage to slow the traffic down on Covenanter Drive.
Mr Zinman called to tell me that he feels that the intersection of Clariz onto Moores Pike is unsafe. He feels that there is a line of sight problem with this intersection and somthing should be done. I told him that I would talk to Bill Williams and Tim Hanson about it.
There is brush that has overgrown at the southwest corner of Brownridge Road and S. Smith Road. The brush has come out onto the roads. The citizen knew that the City trims back the brush if it is in the city right-of-way.
McCammon called in regarding a line of sight problem at S. Rogers & Cherokee Drive. As you are pulling onto S. Rogers Street from Cherokee you can not see vehicles coming south on Rogers due to pine tree limbs.
There is a line of sight problem at the north-south alley, between Lincoln and Grant, that comes out onto E. Hillside Drive. When you are pulling out onto E. Hillside and looking to the right you cannot see oncoming traffic.
