WHEN YOU ARE GOING NORTH ON JEFFERSON STREET APPROACHING 8TH STREET, THERE IS A BLIND HILL THAT CAUSES A DANGEROUS LINE OF SIGHT PROBLEM. CAN THE TRAFFIC DIVISION PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS AREA ABOUT ADDING SIGNAGE WARNING OF THIS PROBLEM. THIS COMPLAINT WAS ORIGINALLY TAKEN IN BY JAMIE BRINEGAR, RISK MANAGEMENT, AND REFERRED ONTO THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
There is a line of sight problem if you are turning left onto Covenanter Drive from Pickwick Place. There is a hill obstructing the line of sight. Could the City use some type of signage to slow the traffic down on Covenanter Drive.
There is a line of sight problem at the intersection of Glendora Drive & N. Dunn Street. As you are going east on Glendora and stop at the intersection with N. Dunn Street, there are bushes/trees obstructing the drivers view looking right (southwest corner).
The residents at 1643 E. Maplecrest Drive park there vehicles in the street. This address is at the corner of Headley Drive & Maplecrest. If a vehicle is going north on Headley and turns left onto Maplecrest they have to go around a tan, Ford Ranger that is always parked there. This causes a problem if someone is turning off of Maplecrest onto Headley. The road is only wide enough to accommodate two lanes of traffic, therefore, the vehicles almost collide before they realize someone is comin
The line of sight problem is at the intersection of Heather Drive and the east leg of Laurel Court. When you travel south on Laurel Court and approach the intersection with Heather Drive, there is no stop sign on the right side and the stop sign on the left side is obstructed by tree branches. Please see attached letter.
THE LINE OF SIGHT PROBLEM IS AT THE THREE-WAY STOP OF WESTMINSTER WAY AND ALLENDALE DRIVE. STONE STATED THAT WHEN YOU ARE GOING WEST ON ALLENDALE DRIVE THAT THERE ARE TREE LIMBS OBSTRUCTING THE STOP SIGN. THE TREE LIMBS HAVE OVERGROWN ONTO THE STREET ALSO.
Citizen is BPD officer. There is a field with trees that are growing into the road which makes walking and driving difficult at Grandview Drive at the Smith Road entrance.
