The alley behind Mrs. Gwin, from 15th to 16th St, is over grown with weeds. Since 1940, she has always kept it mowed. She's 81, was just in the hospital, so can no longer do so. City crews have graveled and trimmed the rest of the entire alley from Walnut to Dunn, except the block behind her. She feels it's time for the city to take over this part of the alley too.

In front of the lots sits an old truck bed made into a trailer and full of junk, oil, etc. Some of this junk is causing nails, bolts and screws to be all over the street. Truck owned by Pat Gray who lives on W. 11th St.
