Tenants moved out and left a pile of trash close to the driveway.
Tenants moved out and left a large pile of trash, sofas, etc. blocking the sidewalk on North Madison Street between 15th and 16th Streets. Mr. Napier said that you can't miss it.
This house is a rental. The people from the summer have moved out and have left a bunch of junk in the yard and on the back porch. There large item pick-up date is on Fridays (Sept. 4th & 11th). The neighborhood has had problems with this residence before with trash piling up and some residents have seen rats around the area.
A resident in the neighborhood states that there is a draiange ditch that runs between 500 & 420 S. East Side Drive. These two houses are rentals and the dtich is not maintained. Can the City please get the property owners to cut the grass and take care of the weeds.
Mrs. Keys called to voice concern about the tax money citizens pay for students to have large items picked up. I explained to her our trash/sanitation system. She primarily called to complain about a large amount of weeds at 1001 E. 1st, and also weeds in the surrounding area that she thinks need to be removed. (No other specific addresses were given.)
The pine tree in the front yard at the above address in hanging over the sidewalk preventing people from walking on this portion of sidewalk. People have to almost walk out into the street to get around the over hang.
The grass is too high. The caller thinks this is the City's property - It is to the west of 1525 W. 7th.
