Bus 555, on route 3E, almost ran into me at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018. I was at the stop sign, leaving the parking lot as referenced above on the map. The bus took the left turn at an angle and did not stop. I put my car in reverse and the bus just missed my car by inches. My entire family was in the car with me. I have not seen bus driving this bad in quite some time. They need to be careful and take it slow. If they cannot make the turn, then let the other person turn so they have a wider angle. I'm not sure why a bus would be in a parking lot anyways--it's a poor place to put a bus stop if there is one. There's too much congestion in that parking lot especially.

Bus driver going so fast on 3rd he couldn't / wouldn't stop at the stop we pulled chain for. Then, rather than stopping around the corner, he said he we drop us off at the next stop, blaming for nut giving him enough notice, which is incorrect because we get off and pull the chain for that stop at least once a day and other drivers stop just fine. This guy was just driving way too fast and was trying to make up time since we left downtown more than 5 minutes late
So besides being dangerous, the guy is rude and definitely needs some customer service training.

The bus stop at this location was vandalized over a month ago and all the glass panes removed. This is the closest stop to my house, and the temperatures with wind chill have been terrible recently. Please replace the glass panes in this structure promptly; it would be very much appreciated by members of your community and Bloomington Transit Users.

The Bloomington Police Department investigates after a city transit but struck and killed a woman near the bus station at the corner of Third Street, and Walnut, Thursday, September 26, 2019 in Bloomington, Ind. Police are not yet releasing the name of the women pending notification of next of kin. BPD Police Lt. John Kovach said, "At this time preliminarily it appears that the city transit bus was pulling out of the station when the victim was struck. She is a deceased. It is a female. I do not have any other information, age, or name or anything that we're going to release at this time, obviously due to next of kin notification. So at this point, the investigation is ongoing with our accident reconstructionists. I do not know when any information will be released for the accident. Obviously, we want to make sure that we do a good thorough investigation." (Photo by Jeremy Hogan/The Bloomingtonian)
