6 Bus 0554 Today (4/25/17) blew past the stop at 10th and college at approximately 1:40 PM. There were students and other passengers such as myself standing at the side of the road. The bus raced over the hill at 10th street and ran right past us.
No public transit to where I work. One of the three top employers in Bloomington, and no public transit available.
Bus 761 route 7 had thick black smoke pouring out its exhaust. I think it needs maintenance
The bus stop at this location was vandalized over a month ago and all the glass panes removed. This is the closest stop to my house, and the temperatures with wind chill have been terrible recently. Please replace the glass panes in this structure promptly; it would be very much appreciated by members of your community and Bloomington Transit Users.

John Kovach said, "At this time preliminarily it appears that the city transit bus was pulling out of the station when the victim was struck. She is a deceased. It is a female. So at this point, the investigation is ongoing with our accident reconstructionists. I do not know when any information will be released for the accident. The 2 south route is being detoured and there is no information about it on the website or the app. How are people supposed to know that the bus will not arrive at their stop. The storm was three weeks ago, you should have information posted by now. Unacceptable.
Thank you for moving the bus stop north 100 ft out of the old bus egress places to places closer to real reasonable places nearer the sidewalks.
At approximately 7:50am 3/6/203 a B-ton transit bus driver, traveling SB through High St and Arden Dr intersection, failed to come to a complete stop. There were cars, pedestrians, cyclists in and around the intersection. Mostly, it's the elementary school kids on their way to school that are at greatest risk from poor driving habits.
Can we PLEASE move the bus stop signage / stop location at least 30 ft north of its current location to prevent people from falling into a drainage sinkhole this is located next to the existing drain. We reported this sinkhole THREE years ago, but nothing has been done, and now it's a hazard to passengers getting off of the #5 bus. Do I have to wait until Mayor Thomson to finally get this fixed? Hamilton has ignored this for THREE F'N YEARS. Sad.
Bus stop hazard: Can we please move the location of the #5 bus stop sign 30ft north. When the bus stops adjacent to the sign here passengers have to exit the bus right next to large (and growing bigger) sinkhole next to the storm drain. The sinkhole was reported years ago, but it persists. At least let me get off the bus without risking falling into a sinkhole before I have to walk through all that wet grass in the easement. Please?
