Work was done overnight to repair a water main break at W Winding Way and Stoneycrest Dr in Fritz Terrace. The water is now dark brown coming out of faucets and when flushing the toilet. No known boil order notice.
I visit friends in Bloomington and I'm allergic to coconut! Why would you introduce an allergen to the water. Now I have to pack in all the water I'm going to use during a visit. Terrible decision.
My tap water has had a yellowish color for the last two days. What is causing this and is it a city wide issue?
Just like other people have reported, our water is brown/green. I want to make sure it's safe.

Black flakes in my water that leave a greasy residue. I last reported this issue on March 16, 2026. The issue is not consistent but seems to pop up randomly which makes it a threat as it is easy not to notice when I am potentially showering with it, washing with it, and even drinking it. Water is coming out of the faucet yellow this morning. It is also yellow coming out of the garden hose. What is causing this? I am concerned it is unsafe to use.
Our tap water is coming out of our sink with considerably less pressure than normal, and is an opaque white color. The water clears up in a few minutes and there is no lasting sediment, but it's happening with cold and hot water which is not normal for our house. We've recently had a snow plow get stuck on the fire hydrant outside of our home - not sure if that would be connected at all to this problem as the hydrant doesn't appear damaged. Thanks for looking into it!
