Just after the overpass when headed north on Smith Road (toward 10th Street) there is a large pothole that takes up the entirety of the bike lane. That area had been closed off for several weeks to fix a hole created by the utility crew working on the power lines. However, it was not completely filled and the hole that was left cannot be biked over safely. The situation is now more dangerous than when the area was closed off, as there are no cones or tape to indicate to the cyclists and the drivers that the cyclist will need to enter the traffic lane to avoid wrecking over the pothole. As is, this serves a serious danger. Someone is either going to get hit by a car while trying to avoid the large hole the are not expecting, or hit it and fall into traffic.

A utility cut was made at this intersection west of Upland Brewing. The work appears to be completed, but the repair of the cut leaves the cut edges too high causing severe stress to my cars suspension even if I try to go over it slowly. When will this intersection either be repaved of the utility cut filled in so that the pavement is smoother going over it? Thank you for your fine (and I go mean it) work.

Botched pavement repair has caused a big dip over one side of the street. I think the property owner adjacent to the issue had a sewer line repair maybe?

The construction at the corner of 11th and Walnut of the new apartment building has left this area of Walnut hazardous and capable in inflicting vehicle damage even when travelling slowing, especially the utility cut across Walnut which has not been filled in to be even with the road surface. This is the same type of problem that existed at 11th and Rogers but is horizontal across the street instead of diagonal across the intersection. The problem at 11th was fixed but this one needs attention ASAP to prevent damage to vehicles and subsequent claims to the city for that damage. There are also breaks and holes and bumps in the pavement at the crest and going down the other side towards 12th street and so on. I am so grateful for the new traffic light at the intersection of Bloomfield rd and Rolling Ridge Way (exiting Twin Lakes Rec Center), but I cannot wait until you have paved the remaining part of the exit. There is a pretty nasty sharp ridge now that my tires don't like at all. Thanks!

There is a big ditch that has developed over the last year that needs to be fix in the front of my house(1008 East Thornton Drive) It is on the main street(Thornton Drive)Can you please have someone out to fix it soon? With winter close it will be extra dangerous to park there.I think it just needs to be filled in with gravel. There is not a lot of parking available there because of the ditch. Can the city put some pressure on INDOT to open some lanes on 3rd and 2nd bridges? We have gridlock daily. Or maybe station cops to direct traffic? Or both? It's really out of hand and I rarely see anyone doing any work!

I live at the corner of W 3rd and Jackson Sts. There is a "traffic calming" device at the west end of the intersection. Another car just struct the curb with some damage today. Last Friday evening two cars struck the device. A week or so ago a Bloomington Police Car struct the curb and blew a tire. This is a common occurrence day and night, on a daily basis. Recently a crew repainted the curb yellow and glued on reflectors. The reflectors were soon scrubbed off by cars hitting the curbs. The curb needs a visible warning at eye-level that drivers can see. They obviously do not see the curb below their eye level. The new yellow paint curb has been hit so many times it is already black with tire rubber. Thanks.

The brick street on Park Avenue, in between 8th and 9th Streets, was torn up by the construction crews when they built the new Fiji house. They completed the work a while ago, but the street is still in awful shape. There are ruts everywhere, and a huge hole just south of 9th street. The bricks need to be replaced on this whole block.
