There is a big ditch that has developed over the last year that needs to be fix in the front of my house(1008 East Thornton Drive) It is on the main street(Thornton Drive)Can you please have someone out to fix it soon? With winter close it will be extra dangerous to park there.I think it just needs to be filled in with gravel. There is not a lot of parking available there because of the ditch. A utility cut was made at this intersection west of Upland Brewing. The work appears to be completed, but the repair of the cut leaves the cut edges too high causing severe stress to my cars suspension even if I try to go over it slowly. When will this intersection either be repaved of the utility cut filled in so that the pavement is smoother going over it? Thank you for your fine (and I go mean it) work.
The construction at the corner of 11th and Walnut of the new apartment building has left this area of Walnut hazardous and capable in inflicting vehicle damage even when travelling slowing, especially the utility cut across Walnut which has not been filled in to be even with the road surface. This is the same type of problem that existed at 11th and Rogers but is horizontal across the street instead of diagonal across the intersection. The problem at 11th was fixed but this one needs attention ASAP to prevent damage to vehicles and subsequent claims to the city for that damage. There are also breaks and holes and bumps in the pavement at the crest and going down the other side towards 12th street and so on. The third street overpass over 37 needs to be shut down. It will collapse if urgent precautions is not taken immediately.
When does the city intend on finishing this section of road? Ever since the bridge was completed it doesn't look like any work has been done at all to finish this one bit of road at all, and it's been months! East-West traffic is already a nightmare for this county because of the construction on I-69, Second, and Third Street, and yet the one route that can really act as a good alternate route to help alleviate some of that traffic is hampered by this abandoned project. While the detours tell people to go down towards 11th Street, we all know that way too many people are cutting through the neighborhood where there are plenty of children trying to play outside. This is nothing but ridiculous!
ON WEST 3RD STREET, AT THE INTERSECTION OF 3RD & FRANKLIN, THE CROSS-WALK BUTTON IS GONE. THE LITTLE POLE IS STILL THERE BUT THE DEVICE IS GONE. PLEASE FIX AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THAT IS A VERY BUSY INTERSECTION BECAUSE IT'S A TURN TO GET TO SEVERAL RESTAURANTS & HOTELS. BUT ALSO, PEOPLE LIVE AROUND THERE WHO NEED TO GET TO THE BUS-STOP ACROSS THE STREET. THANKS
