The city’s fiber project made a bunch of small holes in W 11th ST and filled them in with small river rick. As expected, they are washing out in the rain and leaving deep holes. Please repair!
I submitted a report a day ago reporting that the City’s fiber project filled holes in the road with stones that were washing out. Surprise, with the rain yesterday they are even worse!
Trucks are dumping dirt to fill in the quarry behind the 2 motels on Rappel. They do not clean up the mess, gravel, that they leave behind on the street which they also have destroyed because of their weight. With all the construction going on on 46 Crider and Cider had a street swiper clean Rappel while they were working so the street was kept clean. This should also be kept clean. That portion of Stonelake Dr. is in the city it is the city's responsibility to enforce the trucking company to repair the street and keep it clean.
Nasty pothole here on Grimes. Looks more like a collapsed drain than a pothole tbh.
Pothole on Walnut St. is very deep and there were no signs. I turned onto Walnut from 11th street and there were no warnings for the pothole. My car bottomed out and cracked the front bumper and broke clips to where it is hanging. I parked to look at the pothole and walked up the street and took pictures, showing that there are no signs, and to show that this pothole is very deep, roughly a 2" drop. This incident occurred on Sunday August 23, 2015.
I'm assuming this is temporary, but the road is really rough in this area.
The construction at the corner of 11th and Walnut of the new apartment building has left this area of Walnut hazardous and capable in inflicting vehicle damage even when travelling slowing, especially the utility cut across Walnut which has not been filled in to be even with the road surface. This is the same type of problem that existed at 11th and Rogers but is horizontal across the street instead of diagonal across the intersection. The problem at 11th was fixed but this one needs attention ASAP to prevent damage to vehicles and subsequent claims to the city for that damage. There are also breaks and holes and bumps in the pavement at the crest and going down the other side towards 12th street and so on. This hole next to the street is about 3’ deep and has been there for at least three months. It needs to be fill
Some utility company cut a hole in the asphalt here and then did an abysmal job of filling it in
Botched pavement repair has caused a big dip over one side of the street. I think the property owner adjacent to the issue had a sewer line repair maybe?
