Holes need patched in left lane of N Walnut St near 11th St

At the intersection of W. 9th Street and N. Maple (NOT "709" as your locator insists) is a long crevice in the roadway, getting deeper by the day. It lies along the south side of the intersection. Many cars no longer stop at the stop sign; they just "run" over this trench so they won't get stuck. Although the area is not exactly a high-traffic one, it gets many children, families, pedestrians—and this trench is a dangerous situation.

There is a construction crew working on an apartment complex on Gourley Pike, just west of Kinser. They are dragging a large amount of mud into the street and creating a significant mess. It needs to be cleaned up.

The construction at the corner of 11th and Walnut of the new apartment building has left this area of Walnut hazardous and capable in inflicting vehicle damage even when travelling slowing, especially the utility cut across Walnut which has not been filled in to be even with the road surface. This is the same type of problem that existed at 11th and Rogers but is horizontal across the street instead of diagonal across the intersection. The problem at 11th was fixed but this one needs attention ASAP to prevent damage to vehicles and subsequent claims to the city for that damage. There are also breaks and holes and bumps in the pavement at the crest and going down the other side towards 12th street and so on. The streets around the Cascades Addition neighborhood (Skyline Dr., Cascades Dr., Clover Terrace, Dogwood Ln.) are starting to crumble in many places. The whole neighborhood really needs repaving.

Greetings: I am the Director of the Farmer House Museum and I would like to address the safety concern in our ally that connect between Morton and College at 10th Street. I have a detailed video taken by our board member that shows the area of concern and safety. We have applied for an AARP grant to secure funding to repair and update the parking pad and the alley inbetween the Woodburn House and the Farmer House museum. At the Farmer House Museum we cannot repair the edges of our parking pad without the evaluation from the City of Bloomington. Thank you for your time and consideration.
