The hole (and patch)m that was drilled in the north east part of the intersection of S. Lincoln St and Dodds ST by the fiber install people has washed out with the latest heavy rain storm. To my undertstanding you might be patching in this area soon with the other Potholes that are along S. Lincoln Street and Wylie ST. Thank you for your help!
Last year, the section of the sidewalk at Washington and Cottage Grove was replaced, but the workers left a trench in the road that collects water and breeds mosquitos. I couldn't help but notice when similar work was done this summer on 10th street and a layer of pavement was laid alongside the sidewalk to fill the trench there. Probably just an oversight but it'd be nice to get this job completed.
Roto-rooter has left a dangerous trench angled across a much used bike lane in front of 809 S Lincoln. Now (Coronavirus healthcare shortage) is not the time for new, avoidable injuries, and more people are riding this bike lane as their getting-exercise-during-emergency route.
There is a 2 by 1 foot pothole that was intentionally dug in the alley that runs behind the property.So the pothole is between the property and the Hutton Honors College. Don't know if the city or party that dug it was looking for pipes or what, but the hole has been there for almost two weeks unfilled. There are 6 parking spots all in a row behind the property. The pothole is dug in such a way that it is directly behind a parking spot making the spot unusable. Also, when the pothole was initially dug there was already a car in the parking spot. The pothole was dug directly behind the tires of the car making it impossible to avoid when the car backed out. May want to instruct crews or whichever party was responsible not to do that. Large square piece of pavement missing
The pavement is rough in the right turn lane from West Allen St onto South Larkspur Lane. I reported this on 5/6/2021 (https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=175697). The ticket was closed because “Crews were in your area 5-10-21.” However, there were no repairs done, so I’m reporting it again.
Pothole is about 9 inches deep directly across from the new apartment development Union on Crescent. I hit it in my car Monday night, 7:00 pm, and it damaged my car's front right wheel. There is no street light and it is totally invisible at night. This is a high traffic area and in taking this picture I witnessed several vehicles hit the pothole very hard. The apartment development has had a lot of heavy trucks over the past 6 months. They should be liable for the surrounding roads.
The southeast corner of this intersection is still flooding when it rains.
Kinser Pike road and sidewalk have been destroyed after the construction and gas line work. Why are you all just letting it be f'd up for so long? These need repaired ASAP before winter so the ice and snow don't exacerbate the already dangerous area. Shame we aren't IU or Eastside a-holes or you all would've had your nodes up our asses day after construction ended
The attached referenced utility cut on W. Park Square Dr. is dangerous and is a traffic hazard. Other people in the area have complained this could cause a flat tire or a vehicle to loose control. This morning,1/11/24, the flat tire occurred immediately after passing over this area. Propper fill needs installed to alleviate this hazard!
