In intersection of High St and E Maxwell Ave, there is a missing steel cover of a water access point. Has been missing for days. Creates a hole about 6" or 8" across. Hazardous.
An enormous pothole has developed after the last snowfall at the NW corner of Maxwell and High. This presents a safety risk, since cars need to swerve into incoming traffic to avoid it.
Hello, I’m writing concerning a little stretch of S. Rose Ave that could use some new asphalt. It looks like the road bed was laid down at some point, but never got completely finished. Easiest to see from an overhead view (attached). Vehicles turning south on Rose Ave are always coming off the road at the corner and churning up the gravel and grass on the verge. It’s pretty unsightly. I don't know when S. Rose is due for a new surface (S. Anita got one a year or two ago), but is there any chance of having that section cleaned up when it does? This speedbump, on East 1st, between Eastside & Rose, is surrounded by potholes. The attached picture faces west. There always seems to be water standing here. It is unclear whether it is bubbling up from below the ground, or is some sort of stormwater runoff, but it seems to be eroding the street here.
S Clifton Ave (between 1st and 2nd) is in need of a street sweep to clear tree debris that has been accumulating. Because the street lacks a storm drain, all the debris flows into and stops up the swale that serves as the place for storm water to go. After each rain, several buckets of debris (pine needles, leaves, crumbling road surface) have to be removed by us.
The road surface on the northbound side (right side heading north) of S. Clifton Avenue is failing. There are large chunks of broken road surface in front of 705 S. Clifton and 707 S. Clifton. Can this be patched or repaired to avoid further decay of the road surface?
