This has been like this for over a week. The porch is full of furniture as well.
This has been like this for over a week. The porch is full of furniture as well.
Mattresses/box springs(?) and broken furniture piled up behind and on south side of garage in backyard, visible from alley and several neighboring properties.
This tent has been blowing around and junking up the yard for over a week. Looks horrible and with the wind it could be dangerous.
Trash and broken materials on lawn
Location: Morrison's TV & Appliances (closed) @ ~900 W Kirkwood Ave. There is a shopping cart (large'ish size; standard grocery store) that has been left on the sidewalk for at least a week. It is just immediately west of the curb-cut drive-in for the old Morrison's lot. I've moved it off to the side to clear the sidewalk (now sitting next to the Morrison's fence), but it needs removed permanently. There is nothing in the cart and no one appears to have touched it in at least seven days. Thank you! Happy Holidays/stay warm!! =)
The property at 3131 N Kingsley Dr is an eyesore for the neighborhood
Illegal dumping happens often in the easement between the properties on South Westwood Drive and Village Court. The Village Court tenants or property owner nearly constantly use this area as their personal dumping ground. This mess is currently behind the property line of 420 and 430 S. Westwood Drive. Not pictured is the bedding tossed in the tree limbs. Thank you.
Not sure if this is private property or part of the green belt along Clarizz but trash is everywhere and there is a large body of untreated water ready to fester with rising temperatures.
I am reporting this property for the SECOND time. Nothing has changed - it has gotten worse. When reported previously, Jo Stong's response was, "Well, I drove by and didn't see anything that couldn't be outside." How ridiculous. This is NOT how the city ordinance qualifies debris. Ordinance 6.06.020 - Deposit of Garbage reads, "It is unlawful for any person to throw, place, or scatter any garbage, recyclable materials, or yard waste over or upon any premises, street, alley, either public or private, or to suffer or permit any garbage, recyclable materials or yard waste to be placed or deposited on the premises owned, occupied, or controlled by such person either with or without the intent to LATER REMOVE, COVER, OR BURN IT. Also, we know that there is an ordinance regarding construction debris. The fact is this home, which is zoned "single family home" is being used for storage only. If I read it correctly, there are no utilities currently turned on to the house. I own property in this area and I expect HAND to inform city ordinances just like they would in Hyde Park. It is not right that HAND allows blight to ruin the well-being and property rights of others.
The neighbors are building up a cat litter pile again. The smell is terrible. They have a long history of doing this...
