Animal Control & Neglected Pets

Case Date:
12/12/2022

3409 S McDougal Ct Bloomington, IN Animal hoarding, flipping, neglect, and torture. Hundreds in and out continually and acting as a rescue, The Pipsqueakery, which is crossing state lines with animals continually and fundraising like crazy. There are tons of exotic animals in the house. The types of animals are continually changing as they take in and send out so many regularly. She said in the last week or so that it was borderline cruelty bc all the animals either in warrens or stacked in cages because no room. The animals are not well taken care of at all. There is also a family property being used. Unsure of the location. Possible national fraud going on with fundraising, also, having taken in half-million in donations last year but spending hundreds on transports to get animals out. Possible torture, experimenting, and illegal “vetting” happening in the house as well.

Animal Control & Neglected Pets

3409 S McDougal Ct Bloomington, IN Also a second family location, but where is unknown Approx 700 animals in the house and now a pregnant goat moving in. Recent comment by Alex (owner) that it is borderline cruelty because of warrens structure and stacked cages because there is no room. Rabbits are taken in from all over, funds raised, neglected while there (received many without nails ever trimmed and terribly undersocialized, and communicable disease hidden), and sent out. She’s only adopted out 5 rabbits this year. No IRS filings since 2019, but took in approximately half-million in funds this year. Websites push fundraising more than anything else as a non-profit. If you ask her a question about her animals/location, she immediately gets aggressive and mean and blocks you and transfers out the animal evidence. She is best friends with Kaycee at Bunny Puffs Exotic Refuge in TN who similarly gets defensive, even when spreading false information and letting animals die in her care rather than vet them. Vetting mentality for both is to do it in their house. Most rabbits from Alex in IN get transferred to Chelsea with Bun Bun Brigade in KY or many have gone to MO to Dolly’s Dream Home Rabbit Rescue. Dolly’s is great. Bun Bun Brigade is questionable. Cages stacked high there. The Pipsqueakery is run out of the home of the address sent to you. Suspected animal abuse, torture, neglect, hoarding, and flipping. Plus National IRS fraud. Tons of exotic animals inside the house and they commingle and spread dangerous communicable diseases. Rabbits are then sent out with coccidia, pasteurella, etc. but they refuse to disclose this.

Animal Control & Neglected Pets

Residents have 2 small dogs, resorts to kicking cage and grabbing hard enough to harm in response to barking. In addition, I suspect they have the animals use the bathroom in their cage, as multiple bags of dog poop have been left outside their door.

This neighbor continuously has pans of food on the ground. Sometimes it is birdseed, but it is currently cat food and has also been cheetoh balls. Walking by, we have witnessed many animals, other than birds and most often NOT birds, eating out of these pans. So many deer, groundhogs, raccoons, skunks, cats. I am not looking for someone to necessarily get a fine, but I do know they’re aware of the deer feeding ordinance, but they have continued to do so so more education seems necessary about the harmful effects of this practice. There are pans in the front of the yard and also around back behind their garden. The dead grass all over the yard makes it a parent how much feeding has occurred over the years.
