Hello, I wanted to inform the city about a standing and stagnant water issue in the northeast corner of Bryan Park - next to the tennis courts on the path there is a water fountain and in ground water meter that always has standing water and mosquitoes breeding in it. I've uploaded a picture and this was after 5 or 6 days of no rain. Addressing the issue will help reduce mosquitoes and the chance of illness in the area. Thank you.

There used to be a port a potty at the That Rd parking lot on the Clear Creek Trail. Why was it taken out? That was a nice half way point when walking from Tapp to the Church Rd. Parking lot. Please replace it. Thanks

I was wondering what happened at RCA Park? It looks barren without all the undergrowth near the large shelter.

I have been trying to rent a Kayak at the Lake Griffy boathouse for 2 weekends now. Tomorrow will be the 3rd. Apparently they only have 3 kayaks to rent out in the whole place. There were also very few canoes to rent because several of them were damaged. Who is in charge of that place? I used to go all the time before the lake was drained and fixed, but now that it's back, it seems like the place is falling apart. Will they ever be getting more Kayaks? I don't think it's unreasonable to want to go out there with my girlfriend and not have to wait 4 hours for the people ahead of us to finish.

Big swings on lower BRYAN park playground. The swing seats are too slick. Park is in great shape and generally well tended but granddaughter slid out of Swing unexpectedly and accidentally and flew backward and landed on her side. Fortunately the thick mulch layer cushioned her landing. Complaining of pain in lower abdomen.

I just want to thank you for your prompt care at the Highland Village Park today. Just this morning I submitted a request about a hornet's nest in the park that I was afraid jeopardized the children, as it was right next to the playground. I just went over to the park this evening and saw that the nest had been removed. Thank you!! Great job!

Broken glass by the stone blocks on the north side of the tot playground at Bryan Park. Large pieces were picked up, but there are still small shards on the sidewalk between the large stones (just northeast of the bee riding toy, right in front of the stone block the farthest to the west).

I wanted to comment on the no pet rule in your park. We came here for 16 u nationals( which where run very nicely) and we brought our pet. I understand the no pet policy, but when you host an event like this, it is OK to make exceptions. Most pets that travel 3-4 hours are not going to be a problem. When you in vite people into your community, you need to open up the hospitality a little. The hotel we stayed at had a no pet policy, but allowed us to keep our 100# St Benard pup in our room at no additional charge. ( they made an exception). I'm just disappointed I had to sit beyond the outfield fences

My question is about the lack of mowing in the middle of Sherwood Oaks Park. Is the plan for this park to make the old football field into woods? The trees in there are several years old now and beginning to shade the "trail" around the park. Shoudn't someone bush-hog this part of the park? One of the things I have always enjoyed about this park is the black raspberries that grow on the western side of the old field. The new trees in the middle are starting to shade this area, and soon those berries will fade away, as they prefer "edges" with sun to the east of them. The same sort of thing is happening in Olcott park, so I am guessing that this is part of your plan, but if it is not a real plan, can someone come and cut all that brush down? Thanks! Kim

My family was at Bryan Pool on Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm. After an hour of swimming the children were made to leave the pool for adult swim. Twenty minutes is a very long time for a child and since we could only stay for two hours it really limited our swimtime. I overheard comments from several adults that were also unaware of the adult swim rule. Additionally, two young children came in and unaware of your policy stepped into the pool only to be yelled at by the lifeguard. The girls were so embarrassed they ran to their mothers in tears. What is the puropse of this extended time out? There were only a handful of adults in the pool and most felt bad that their children couldn't join them.
