Two issues that do not reflect well on the park: the sign about native plants in a mulched bed that contains mostly weeds. (This is curly dock.) And the starlings that are nesting in the tip of the roof over the picnic tables and leaving droppings. Please do not disturb the barn swallow nest in the back corner. They are neither noisy nor messy.
Your online reservation system for parks is flawed. https://webtrac.bloomington.in.gov/wbwsc/webtrac.wsc/search.html When I search for Winslow Woods Shelter for 9/21/2019 with starting time 8am, I get a result of "Unavailable." If I change the starting time to 12am, I get a result of "6am-11am Available." This is clearly incorrect behavior and has caused us continued confusion starting at least since Fall 2018. This should be a high priority item for fixing, since it makes the reservation system very unreliable.

Along the southern edge of South East park there is a brambly thorn bush that is over hanging the sidewalk. Could it please be trimmed back off the sidewalk so pedestrians are scratched by the thorns? I think the best way to describe the location would the edge of the park nearest the house at 1811 S Montclair.
My house shares a tree line with Southeast Park on Montclair Ave. During two storms this summer, trees on the park side have split and left large branches on the park side. These trees break due to the number of times they have been cut back by the utility companies (close to power lines that also border my property and the park) on my side of the tree line. Because of the location of the power lines and where the dead tree branches current lay, I do not know who's responsibility it is to clean up these dead limbs. I would like to request that the city take care of it, as we have had no control over the care of these trees and how they have been topped on only one side over and over again throughout the years. Regarding uReport case #169184 I just got an email saying the case is closed after the city arborist reached out to me. I never heard a peep from a city arborist regarding my inquiry about the prairie landscapes in Olcott Park. I was disappointed that I did not hear from anyone.
The gate pin and hinge is made so you can't swing through. The pin is almost out and it won't fit back in. Needs repaired.
