Caller attended EarthFest and was complaining about the transit arrangement. She inidcated that she waited for an hour to catch the shuttle to the event and the shuttle never came. She was under the impression that the shuttle would run every 20-30 minutes. She ended up getting a ride with someone else, but would like to see the situation rectified in the future.

This is a second report about a possibly dangerous tree in Bryan Park. I reported it first after getting reactions from some usually knowledgeable people. Here is a sample. "Textbook example of root rot in an infected ash tree. That tree will fall soon. I've seen many on my property fall when they get to that stage." "VERY precarious, I have had trees fall over that were not that bad." "We just lost a 6yr from Boonville yesterday dead tree uprooted and fell on her. what are the odds of that... she was walking with her Grandma." So it sounds URGENT. Please put some CAUTION tape around it and maybe a sign if an arborist can't assess it immediately.

The largest section in Ferguson dog park has many puddles that fill in when it rains, one of which is almost always full and is very deep. The puddles get very muddy, and when the water is turned off for winter, there is no way to prevent dogs from getting in the puddle and then no way to clean them off. It would be beneficial, I believe, to fill in these holes with dirt of gravel so this would no longer be an issue. Thanks for considering!

Need to report an ongoing problem with an adult non-neutered Rottweiler coming to the park and being aggressive with other dogs. Owners drive black RangeRover, IN plate WE7460. I have seen this dog a few times now and today informed the couple that non-neutered dogs aren't allowed in the park. They disregarded my comments so I called BPD. The responding officer stated that his girlfriend may have had difficulties with the same animal. Hopefully we can let these people know that their one animal can cause difficulties for many others....

Poop in the dogpark. Several months ago both the supply of bags and the container for used bags were moved from within the dog fields themselves to an area within the double gate entry area. Perhaps this was an attempt at efficency but it has had a sigificanlty adverse affect on the conditions in the park itself with much more poop being left on the ground and more full bags being left scattered around the park. Yesterday I picked up 11 full bags left out in the field and this is not uncommon. Both the bags and the refuse containers need to be returned to their original spots to turn this trend around. There was a large husky fighting with every dog in the Ferguson Dog Park today. Our two golden retrievers got attacked. I did not get info from the owner of the husky but he did nothing and was sitting under the shelter. Ridiculous. Also, there was a guy with a black or dark grey Toyota 4Runner with a brown and white colored hunting dog. He dragged the dog out of the back of the car by the collar and dangled it. He was dangling that poor dog like it was on a noose. He was hitting the dog and being abusive. We will not be back to this park ever. It makes me nauseous seeing some of the things that went on today. I know nothing will be done but I wanted this noted.

At Ferguson Dog Park there are a couple large mud pits. I and others have noticed there are dogs using the bathroom in these pits and i'm worried dogs will get sick. Not to mention how dirty they get. A lot of water is being wasted cleaning all the dogs. Is there a way these pits could get filled in? I would also like to thank you all for maintaining the dog park. We absolutely love going there and do so four times a week.

There is a parasite going around at the Ferguson Dog park. I know of a dog that has contracted Giardia over 6 times. Someone needs to post signage around the park to let people know the dangers of not picking up after their dogs and more poop stations with more bags so we can make it easier to hold the pet parents accountable. I have tried to tell other dog owners to pick up after their pets but it has not succeeded. Please do something because pet parents like me can't take out dogs while there is an issue like this. A friend and I have even gone to the length of going throughout the park and cleaning up the entire thing. However it has not stayed that way. Please do something so not other dogs have to get sick and potentially die.
