Downspout redirected to flow water directly onto and over the sidewalk.
Downspout redirected to flow water directly onto and over the sidewalk.
This pothole makes navigating this busy sidewalk hazardous. Wheelchairs or strollers can get stuck; pedestrians with mobility issues can easily trip and fall.
This is my second report on this issue: Water meter protruding approx. 2.5 in the *middle* of the sidewalk near 438 W Somersbe Place (county). I have seen numerous people trip and one person fell but fortunately was not seriously injured. It is only a matter of time until someone is. The liability is yours. The sidewalk in front of this complex (Townhouses on 10th) does not have ramps, just curbs, to cross the driveway to the complex. There is also a sunken area east of the complex entrance that is completely buried in dirt now (I'm not sure if it is on their property or on Woodbridge's, it is between). This makes it very difficult to walk through this area with a stroller and also makes it inaccessible to anyone unable to step down or up on a curb (and when it rains, the dirt-covered area turns into mud and gets pretty slick). There are some other areas that have shifted so the sidewalk is no longer even as well.
Sidewalk in front of house has degraded to a point that it is dangerous if someone used a scooter in the dark along this stretch, or even walking. Next time the owner applies to renew the rental permit, please stipulate that the current sidewalk be taken up and a fresh one poured to match the rest of that block and remove the current hazard.
Rental permit should not be renewed until property owner repairs the sidewalk in front of house. It is highly degraded and dangerous.

tree encroaching into right-of-way, sidewalk, asked for it or be trimmed or cut down
In front of Upland Restaurant, sunflower plant is blocking the entire sidewalk and one of the parking meters. Please ask them to fix this!
leaving the City Hall parking lot by the SW ramp to the B-line (just south of the fence), there is a heave of sidewalk on the ramp, demonstrated in the attached pictures. It is significant enough to cause a County Commissioner to fall on Friday and create an avulsion fracture of her finger! (I cannot tell if the photos loaded, so you may have double copies.)
