Workers grinding the sidewalk are generating significant clouds of silica dust. Silica-generating grinding operations are supposed to be controlled by water or vacuum. The vacuum systems they are using are clearly ineffective. This is clear if you watch them work, it's also clear if you examine a recently ground section of sidewalk. Significant concrete dust remains on the sidewalk surface because the vacuum isn't picking it up. The city is substituting a respiratory hazard for a trip hazard. I don't want to get these guys in trouble, but would appreciate if the city would ensure they're using water or effective vacuum controls.

I am away on business and person watching my house reported that my front yard was dug up by the nuisance folks doing some kind of work in Ron Heifhts. Will the city be reseeding and fixing this area of grass between sidewalk and curb? No one contacted me whatsoever about this work or that they would be digging up my yard. Hazardous Trees - north side of Sare between Mill Stone Way and Mill Stone Court. There are two trees leaning/growing over the sidewalk and street. The larger one is leaning on a smaller tree. This likely got this way from the storm at the end of June. I fear that strong winds could topple these trees onto the sidewalk and road. Can the city do something about this danger zone please?

This is being resubmitted because the HOA Board of Directors has noted the issue has not been resolved, as reported via email (screenshot attached). Hazardous sidewalk in front of 2001 S Ramsey Drive in Cameron Row HOA Community. See also closed case #177224 of Sept. 1, 2021. Sidewalk is flaking. 700 S Eastside Drive (corner lot) Nothing was done to repair this. House is for sale again now. Maybe a good time to insist that it be fixed.

​How is the city inspecting the newly installed curb cuts on E 2nd St. between Mitchell and High to ensure they are accessible? Several of these new curb cuts seem to have been completed, but they are not flush with the pavement -- they have ​at least a 1 inch lip on them.

I live at the corner of 16th and Hancock . I have two points to address. the first, is thtat I talked with an individual last year involved with storm water just after the culvert at my corner had been replaced, and advised this had been a missed opportunity to upsize this culvert, and that I had witnessed overflow of the corner culvert in a number of storms. this past tuesday, August 9, 2022, we had about an hour of rain. Included are pictures of the overflow that lasted about 45 minutes after rain had ceased. My street has recently been repaved and i thought , perhaps a remedy might be included in this process, however, no. Additionally, thegravel shoulder that has been added to finalize this new repaving process has stopped short of my property, and the new asphalt topping was not tapered onto my asphalt driveway, even though they primed a sweep into my drive, indicating to me that bonding a transition had probaly originally been intended. Now i have a bump approaching the street that is collecting gravel from these overwash events. the North side of 16th between Monroe and Hancock has not had a gravel shoulder appliction. Is ther more work scheduled to complete the gravel shoulder.
