Broken grate in the sidewalk poses a tripping hazard.
Broken grate in the sidewalk poses a tripping hazard.
Construction has blocked the only entrance and exit to our apartment building. The sidewalk is closed, and there is currently no clearly safe pedestrian route to enter/exit the building. Residents have to navigate this uneven gravel/construction area immediately adjacent to an excavation site with a significant drop-off and exposed stakes/rods. This condition has been left for residents to deal with- the construction crew has been gone for hours, and since it's now almost 6 pm I'm guessing they aren't returning tonight. There is no other entrance or exit to the building for two of the four residents. Could you please confirm what temporary pedestrian access is intended for residents and when safe access to the building entrance will be restored?
City maintained sidewalk is overgrown. This is within the area that has the chain link fence on the east. Numerous low-hanging trees.
On Wylie a bit west of Hawthorne (address is 830 Hawthorne. Several squares of sidewalk so badly cracked i caught my foot in one and almost tripped. SS4A should include walkable sidewalks or should I say sidewalks that pedestrians can use safely, including ones who have impaired mobility and/or vision. Thanks!
Loose water meter cap presents a tripping hazard. I did my best to secure it but it is still not in place fully.
On 1st Street east of Henderson. Sidewalk tree plot needs mowing. There's a new duplex (address is on Henderson) but i don't know who is responsible for the strip. Technically that strip is on the other side of a fence from a conservation easement
May not be exactly the right address, but this drains from a downspout into the sidewalk. Not code, right? (Among other problems, that water can freeze on the sidewalk in winter)
Hole in the ground, some kind of corroded lid? Poses a tripping hazard.
Poison ivy growing over sidewalk.
Major sidewalk hazard: large cylindrical hole in the middle of the sidewalk, with no signage. I very narrowly missed it with my wheelchair. Not accessible. This is on the east side of S Rogers. I was going to Switchyard park on the sidewalk from "Rogers St & Hillside Dr @ Community Kitchen" route 2S bus stop. The hole is just after the sidewalk splits off with a path towards Switchyard.
