The recycling fellow looked in my container and evidentally, a single plastic bag was not recylable, so he hung that bag halfway out of the container and did not pick up any of the recycling. I'm sorry I made that mistake, but it would have been small effort to put the bag in the trash container that was right beside it or to leave the plastic and take the recycling. Really poor service.
Hello! We got a notice for leaving our recycling can put past 24 hours of pickup, because our recycling has not been picked up for a MONTH? I do not think it is fair for us to have to pay any fine at all, as we put the correct items in the recycling container and it wasn’t overflowing. We left the can out by the street for 24 hours in case recycling came by later because we were not sure what was going on and why it never got picked up? I even sent an email about 2 weeks ago and never got a response!!! We are upset about this and would appreciate a response. Ticket: 62023-02-0428 Please take a look and consider appealing this. I called last Friday and reported that my recycling was never picked up and I was told to leave it by the curb and it would be a day or so before you would get to it.. As of today it is still in the front of my house full to the top so I guess it will not be picked up until tomorrow which is the usual day for pick up. I have a large amount of cardboard is it possible to put this with my bins. I understand if there is additional cost. The cardboard can be flattened it is just really large. Thanks for your help!

Today on June 20 2017 I was standing at my window watching the Recycling Pickup crew look at my Recycling and decided not to pick it up so they write me and leave a note saying it's not properly sorted. I am getting very upset with the recycling pickup. They like to pick and choose when they want to pick up my recycling. I sort out my recycling the same way every single time and sometimes the choose to pick it up and sometimes the choose not to. This time they decided not to , and I can almost guess it's because it rained last night and got the paper bags a little wet. So they was to lazy to pick up my recycling. This is very messed up. Big time. Please have someone call me to discuss this issue because it's getting really ridiculous. They should not be working if they do not want to do their job right.
My trash was picked up today but no try recycling, I left the bin out on the curb and they did not take it. I am a new Bloomington resident so I may be unaware of the recycling rules, but the bin had only bottles an cans in it. Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks
