Apartment Complexes in the area? Why is it that the apartments have the sidewalk on the outside of the building cleaned but the inside court yards NOTHING is cleaned? I have seen several of the lower class apartment complexes people must pay rent on time yet when we have bad weather we still get no credit for being people living in the buildings? We are not appreciated cause we are LOWER CLASS? discrimination to me. Where is the R E S P E C T FOR US!!!!

Can the bus slow down a bit on Morningside Drive please? Scared a kid will get hit. I appreciate the speedy service and option in the neighborhood, but also value our pets and kids not expecting a big bus to zip by. Thank you!

Yard waste carts are a great idea but very expensive. If city government wants to promote them please lower the price. Would love to buy one.

52,000 dollars for a Night Mayor (Nightmare more like it). Thanks for nothing B-town. More like IU Student Housing City, IN. I suppose Mayor "Default" Hamilton can't function after 5pm or he'll turn into a pumpkin.

I don't see the point in using this reporting system AT ALL if issues sit around for a month and no one takes care of the problem. See issue 169137 https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=169137

Ref: Saturday Farmer's Market
I implore the mayor of Bloomington to not resort to the extreme action of closing the Saturday Farmer's Market as a solution to calming the tensions around a particular market stand at the farmer's market. Bloomington's farmers market is at its peak time of year late July/early August. I have arranged for out of town company to be in Bloomington this weekend in large part because the market yields such a wonderful market Saturday dinner. I myself am making a trip into town from DC for the weekend to host my out of town guests.
The city MUST find a less destructive way of calming the tensions than that of closing the market.
Sincerely,
Beth Plale

Hello City of Bloomington - I want to suggest that you learn about and advocate for the City to join the Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE) - https://www.racialequityalliance.org. It's a national network geared to local and regional government agencies. We know white supremacy is a systemic problem, not unique to B'town. The City should work in coalition and learn from other govt. entities committed to progressive social change. Mayor Hamilton and other City leaders know about GARE but have never joined. We're not a progressive city. BUT we could make a serious move towards being one if we take bold, strategic action. Joining GARE is a start. Thanks for taking seriously this suggestion. Sincerely, Trish Kerle'
