I have reported numerous times that there is a black dodge durango permanently parked on the City street in front of this address. It has been there close to two years. I have also reported a ford ranger parked in front of 3141 S Piccadilly that is permanently parked there. Can the police department PLEASE tag them for towing? Isn't City code that they can not be parked there more than 72 hours? Why have a code if it is not enforced?
Recently, four armed robberies happened among IU students, which caused a great threat to us. But as we noticed that policemen did not take any actions to protect students' safety and send any warning massage to inform students after that. So, we hope BPD could help students protecting our safety dutifully.
Suspicious activity at 801 W 7th. A lot of people coming and going constantly. They don't stay long. Possible drug activity? Blue Honda Odessey van with three people and a dog now living on the property. Is this a licensed rental or a single family home? Woman who often drives the van seems disoriented.
November of 2013 my truck died and I decided to try to go all of 2014 without a vehicle. So far so good. I hike and bike the B-line a LOT at all times of day/night. I have recently noticed more of a police presence there, I'm guessing in response to the recent crime spree there. I've also noticed police talking with parks workers there and stickers (on the parks worker's vehicles) alerting us that the park workers can alert police (and I imagine EMS) if needed. Today I saw a city worker bush hogging a bunch of tall weeds that a criminal could hide out in waiting to pounce. I say all that to say a BIG THANK YOU! That B-line is too nice to let it be ruined by a handful of thugs. Thanks again to all of you....and 'book em Dano.'
Man in white house next door to 516 (driving a silver Cube) backed in to a car parked on the street that belongs to a girl living across the street. He proceeded to back in to it twice within a minute while trying to get in parking spot.
Meters, Today is government holiday so I thought the meters would be off. However I found it wasn't the case. Some meters read "free parking" and some read the regular about and running times. I wanted to check to see if your website mention that the meters were running the webpage cited the holidays and dates the meters were off but today wasn't mentioned. I paid $3.00 just to be safe because I rather pay now than have a $50 tickets. However I feel that the meter should be constant and that you web page give a clear answer. There has been a navy blue trailer parked in front of my house for over a week now. I have never seen anyone get into it and hasn't been moved since it first showed up. Is there any regulations for how long someone can leave an abandon trailer somewhere?
filing noise complaint: after-hours loud noise coming from pool opposite residential buiding on 430 South Dunn street. Noise caused by after-midnight parties lasting till early hours of the morning. Can the city of Bloomington do something about it? Sincerely, Ernest Andrews
