Man in white house next door to 516 (driving a silver Cube) backed in to a car parked on the street that belongs to a girl living across the street. He proceeded to back in to it twice within a minute while trying to get in parking spot.
There are two completely dead trees on the north side of 2nd St. at the corner of Swain and 2nd. The one closest to the corner loses big limbs during storms. Someone is going to get hurt. Last weekend a dead tree broke the rear windshield of a car further up on Swain. Two weeks ago an enormous tree on Swain (corner of E University) collapsed across Swain into Andy Ruff's yard causing a power outage for us in the neighborhood. Someone needs to be policing these dead trees which are major hazards for those of us who walk. I previously reported a dead tree (still dead) behind the house on the south side of 2nd, corner of Swain. Thank you.

I wish to report a code violation regarding overgrowth and grass length at 537 N. Plymouth Road in Park Ridge East. The code states that anything greater than 8" is in violation. The front yard is grown up with weeds taller than this. The back yard is MUCH more of a problem with overgrowth even taller than the front yard. We are concerned about mosquitoes and other such problems as a result of this overgrowth. We would appreciate the City giving them a slight nudge to take care of this yard maintenance issue.
When it rains, there is no drainage at this spot. All along the north side of 2nd from College to Rogers there are multiple areas of flooding on the street through this corridor.
Hello, I'm reaching out on behalf of my employer Hanapin Marketing. We currently reside in the Showers complex at 501 N. Morton Street, and our employees share the Showers Red Parking Lot with County employees. Over the last 6 months, we have all noticed a rise in crime in the parking lot, particularly with theft. I've attached several police reports that have been filed in the last few months to support these claims. These are the incidents that were reported to the police, however, there have been others as well that were never filed. For example, in early January one of our employees had his door handle ripped off his car entirely. We are hoping that the city will notice this trend and assist us in our request to advocate for higher security and/or additional patrols in that area to deter thefts. November of 2013 my truck died and I decided to try to go all of 2014 without a vehicle. So far so good. I hike and bike the B-line a LOT at all times of day/night. I have recently noticed more of a police presence there, I'm guessing in response to the recent crime spree there. I've also noticed police talking with parks workers there and stickers (on the parks worker's vehicles) alerting us that the park workers can alert police (and I imagine EMS) if needed. Today I saw a city worker bush hogging a bunch of tall weeds that a criminal could hide out in waiting to pounce. I say all that to say a BIG THANK YOU! That B-line is too nice to let it be ruined by a handful of thugs. Thanks again to all of you....and 'book em Dano.'
There is a tall dead tree in the backyard of this rental house in my neighborhood, right near the property line with the other house. During each major storm, large limbs fall into the street, creating a danger for those of us who walk past that location. The tree should come down ASAP. I should have reported this sooner but occasionally someone (city? utilities?) saws up the limbs that fall so I have assumed it was on someone's radar. Last night VERY large limbs came down. Please make sure someone solves this problem soon.
