Smith and Morningside, thank you for painting a bit in the area but never did crosswalks there. Super important at intersection as kids cross, is bike path both ways, etc. Said would this summer in prior report so wanted to make sure the crosswalk painting wasn't going to be forgotten since painted other stuff in area but not them. Hello - I wanted to ask if the city could do a better job decorating for Christmas this year. We moved up from Florida last year and was very surprised that there was no Christmas tree in the city center, and meager decorations -- just some strings of white lights on the courthouse. It didn't feel festive or beautiful or special. It's important, maybe not for students, but for families, older people and also business owners, I would think, to have a festive, Christmas-y and beautiful downtown. Please, Bloomington, put up a big Christmas tree this year on or around the courthouse square, and have a special lighting ceremony, with Christmas and holiday music. And do Christmas decorations on the lamp posts on Kirkwood, and maybe string lights over the avenue (like in the photo attached here, of Clematis Street in West Palm Beach). IT department: The window on the web page for uReport complaints is too short - needs top be taller so the title at the top of the reCAPCHA pop-up is visible. It pops up pictures, but you do not know what it wants you to do unless you use the scroll bar & raise the slider.
There are not any 'No Parking' signs on the east side of Swain by Ingas Popcorn. Attached is a photo showing cars parked. Could 'No parking' signs be put here.
I am writing about the fact that there seem to be some cars that just use the 4th street garage as a storage place for their cars. The city suffers from not enough free parking downtown and the 4th street garage seems to be the place for people to store their trucks/automobiles for covered parking. I know for a fact that there is a very large white truck on the first floor of the garage that has just been sitting there for several days and hasn't moved. I don't even know if the truck has a monthly permit, but with free parking so scarce downtown, it would be nice if people would not be able to store their cars in that garage. I have poor Ivy Tech students who can't find any free parking during class time at the Waldron Arts Center and are pretty much forced to pay and extra $100 a semester just for street parking. I would appreciate somebody getting back with me on this matter. Thanks. Ingrid Faber

Crosswalks need repainted badly at Smith and Morningside. Today someone did not stop again and caused high speed collision with major vehicle damage. If walker or biker would be dead. Please repaint as requested with multiple other neighbors' reports.
